I can hardly wait. Hopefully, no Mika on the first PP unit and limit his ice time to about 12 minutes.

Kakko has fired the first shot. It’s time the young players take this team over. Mancini needs to play.

Glad the coach have scratched Mancini for two straight games in favor of scrubs who won’t be even here next year. That new scrub they got from Anaheim. lol

The inaccuracy on the team is mindboggling.

Hopefully Panarin stays out longer so they keep on losing. Maybe they will have a chance at top 3 pick next draft.

As I wrote the other night, I think the Rangers are the worst team in the league. In the past 9 days they have lost to the two teams with the least number of points, and they are falling like a rock to the bottom. They are 3-11 in their past 14 games.

I don't care who you are, Drury, a fan, a fan on this board, if you still hold any delusion in your head this team can turn it around this season, you need to drop that mindset immediately, as it is counterproductive to what needs to be done. As I have been saying for weeks now, they need to sell sell sell, and any trades made 100% must be geared towards next season and beyond, prospects and/or players with term left on their contracts.

All vets that have little time left on their contract should be dealt, Vesey, Smith, Lindgren, come to mind immediately. Vets like Kreider and Carrick should be dealt. Then you need to look at what makes sense and what is best for the organization moving forward with guys like Panarin and Zibanejad who have NMC's (would they waive if asked). And look at a Fox and/or Miller trade, as at least one needs to go.

The desperation to try and salvage this season should have stopped weeks ago, but now it truly needs to stop as this team has no chance to do anything. Get the highest pick you can in the draft, maybe you get lucky and win the lottery, and go from there.

Based on where we are in the season, when trades rarely happen, Drury is in a tough spot, 100% of his own making, but how much longer does he sit idly by and watch this mess without making a big trade, even if it's a risk and/or it focuses on next season and beyond.
