Now if you are old enough you can remember an era of pain, suffering and incompetence that we are now entering. Where the Devils are a threat in the playoffs for a decade while this team sucks moose dick. One can only hope the dumbass Giants get a real QB and people that know what the hell they are doing to give us something else to cheer for. Or the Jets for that matter if you are a fan of theirs.

This season has been over for a few weeks +, the Rangers are currently the worst team in the NHL IMO. I do not agree next season and beyond is F'd though. With the right moves to get some future assets for vets (picks/prospects/players with term left on their contracts) and adding the right players at the trade DL/this coming summer, I think next season the Rangers can be right back in a good spot (look at the Devs). This can be a one season mess with the right moves.

The biggest issue as I see it is I have very little faith, pretty much no faith, in Drury to have the ability and understanding to make those right moves. If the Rangers had a competent Pres/GM I think they'd be ready to win next season, but they don't. This current season never would have happened with a competent Pres/GM who understood this core could not be brought back after the Florida L, and yet here we are. So why would I think Drury can do the job now, I don't. That is the biggest issue for this organization, and unfortunately, I don't see Dolan solving it by firing Drury.

Mika is soft and is clueless. Mika's a** should be scratched. He is the worst of all of them with his soft fat cat attitude. For what +/- is worth, Mika is a -17, which is horrific (including a -12 in the past 14 games when the Rangers have fallen apart):

Against the Blues, Mika Zibanejad finished with his lowest ice time since becoming a Ranger in July 2016.

The 13:04 TOI he received proved to be the lowest he’s logged in a game since Oct. 27, 2019 (6:31), when the Swedish center left a game against the Bruins early due to an injury.

In nine seasons with the Blueshirts, Zibanejad has averaged 19:33 of ice time per game and had never seen the ice less than he did this past weekend.

“Honestly, I’m just focusing on today,” Zibanejad said before logging 17:17 in the Rangers' 2-0 at the Predators Tuesday night. “That happened, and we have a new game today. So, that’s where I’m putting my energy and focus.”

I saw Mika in the preseason game and saw right away this asshole is going to be a major issue. I did not think Kreider would get down to Mika’s level of suckage. Very disappointing that Kreider might end up not retiring as a ranger.

This season is over and they’re probably gonna lose the next 7 games on their schedule. Ask zman to waive his NTC and tell him if he doesn’t he’ll be waived and ride the minor league buses. Kreids not playing well but looks to me like he’s hurt.

Exactly. If we forced Trouba out of here, then let’s tell Drury to do the same thing with all these fat cats. Waive your NTC or get put on waivers. Then fire Drury and tell free agents that was all a Drury thing lol

Mika cannot be waived, and he cannot be forced to ride the minor league buses. He has a NMC not a NTC, so he cannot be waived or sent to the minors without his approval (same with Panarin and after this season Igor and Fox for the next two seasons - then he has a MNTC).
