I guess I don't see the athleticism. I mean I'd say he's above average in the NBA, but he's nowhere close to the top athletic guards like Rose/Westbrook/Wall/OJ Mayo/Morant/etc level.
My son is a Scoot fan. I can definitely see the appeal. He is strong, and does show flashes. I just hope he has a good enough head on his shoulders to recognize he won’t have anything handed to him (including playing time) and needs to continue to work his ass off to get to that next level.
I think he'll need to be given playing time to make the step. I don't think we'll ever get value out of him otherwise. He needs to know the team has confidence in him and won't pull him for mistakes.
