Very inspiring Seriously, "Stupid people didn't hate that corrupt guy who chose to make their lives more difficult so they wouldn't support our guy who kept their lives more difficult" isn't a compelling argument. Want to win? Be compelling. Just pointing at "that guy" doesn't cut it. You have to actually deliver something tangible. If Biden would have delivered a single payer option that any American can choose over their employer's option I bet Biden would have won.
barfo: WHADDAYOU WANT? Phat: Well, Well, I was told outside that... barfo: DON'T GIVE ME THAT, YOU SNOTTY-FACED EVIL PAN OF DROPPINGS! Phat: What? barfo: SHUT YOUR FESTERING GOB, YOU TIT! I'm not gonna read through this whole thread, did we figure out if we like right wing autocracy if it's good for the economy yet?
Apparently lying blatantly and promising mass deportations is very compelling. The Democrats should have done that, clearly.
He didn't gain voters. We already knew he'd get about that many. Those people were a lost cause. Dems lost voters who just couldn't stomach voting for a Dem or a Republican. What you are doing right now is what Dems chose to do and have lost twice to a clown like Trump.
Good thing he's a multi-billionaire and can afford to invest in America a fuck ton more than he is currently. He could start by paying more taxes.
Trump was compelling enough (to the people he was targeting) to win the election. Democrats weren't. And I really don't want Trump to win, so I wouldn't personally want him to be more compelling. There were plenty of Americans who didn't buy Trump's bullshit who could have showed up and beaten Trump. Dems failed to turn out those voters.
I have a different saying in mind: better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
Oh, so *that’s* how he can make impossible demands of his staff: he’s been holding his H1B staff hostage.
What didn't President Musk campaign on getting rid of American workers and replacing with immigrants?
Technically he didn’t campaign at all; like he did with Tesla and SpaceX, he merely purchased the government later after most of the work was done.
