+Has the most on court value today
    +Hardest position/role to fill

    -Has the most guaranteed years
    -Oldest

Ayton has the biggest cap hit next year on his max, but it's expiring

I'm getting sick of trying to overanalyze who is less awful. Just wish one or more of these guys would be gone.

As The HCP pointed out indirectly, they weren't all on network TV prior to this year, though. That's a big change in the potential eyeballs.

nba is soft and too friendly

there has to be rivalries and hate, why not, it makes it so much more competitive and enjoyable to watch

nba is acting like players are having guns with them, just let them throw hands, sometimes you beat someone, sometimes you get beaten, thats life

I agree. That way every team can have an enforcer that just beats the fuck out of the other team's best players. If they can't stop him then that is on them.

Yeah, that approach can have some catastrophic consequences. Look at what happened to Rudy Tomjanovich in one fight during his playing career. Leave the idiocy to the hockey players. Now if your argument is that defenders should be allowed to play more physical, I agree. If you are saying that flagrant fouls should be reserved for dirty nonbasketball plays, I agree with that too. That being said in the NBA you are proposing not only would a lot of fans be turned off by the violence but the sanctioned violence you describe would logically result in guys on ten day contracts ending the seasons of superstars. Once again you need to get a grip on reality.

If you like fighting watch combat sports (MMA, boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, grappling). You could also watch hockey which has its level of sanctioned violence and American football which is probably more violent than even the combat sports... there's also rugby and a few hybrids between rugby and what you get in the NFL. Basketball which is played on hardwood and has no mandatory safety equipment is just not the place for the HATE that you seem to desire.

Sly sets a bad example for all head coaches. He should come down harder on his moderaters.

Every team should have a muscular power forward. This will increase Grant's trade value.

Never could figure out why they didn't trade CJ and Keep Norm? At that time they could have got some real nice picks and or a decent Forward for CJ. Dame/Powell back court might have been a better duo than Lillard/McColum. Obviously CJ was more expensive also.

I never understood why they dumped Norm either. They played him out of position at small forward if I remember correctly.

There were probably more cap and trade issues than I can count and of course it seems CJ didn't hold as much value as some of us thought he might? Obviously teams were not screaming to get him. Then there was Olshey who I guess is the favorite excuse many use.
