That made me wonder: if you get dementia, often you can't recognize friends/family. But can you recognize yourself in a photo or in a mirror?

Lashanna is nearly healed up and fur starting to grow back. I took collar off. She has one more dose of antibiotics.

Caught Lashanna nibbling the baby lettuce. Cats do sometimes chew greenery and eating fresh organic baby lettuce certainly won't hurt her. But I had planned on eating it myself.

I have the ring doorbell app and constantly I get updates about missing cats!

If you don’t want your damn car missing don’t let it outside!

Why can’t I keep my car outside?

When Lashanna adopted me I wanted to keep her indoors at least until she was oriented so closed off cat door. She tore holes in two screens to let herself out but came back.

Stuck on hold with insurance company trying unsuccessfully to straighten out auto insurance when Lashanna brought home a large lizard. I couldn't get to it to put it outside because I was stuck holding phone. Lizard crawled under washing machine. Lashanna began meowing loudly. She is now basking in the sun and as far as I know lizard is still under washing machine. Extremely difficult to pull out from wall. Unless it can figure out cat door which is in laundry room, unlikely, lizards aren't very smart, it can't let itself out. No idea how long it will hide there. Or what to do aside from hope it emerges and Lashanna grabs it so I can put it outside.

As long as it is under washing machine traps won't help. Right now waiting it out.

Apparently lizard got out on its own. There is an opening in the wall for dryer vent and just enough clearance for a small creature like a lizard to squeeze through. Lashanna lost all interest in the area after spending hours prowling, which tells me prey no longer there.
