• The last time the Blazers had a winning season vs the Pelicans, Terry Stotts was coaching his last year. The Blazers went 3-0 against the Pelicans that season.
• CJ McCollum was drafted by the Blazers with the 10th pick in 2013. He was traded to the Pelicans in 2022 in a deal in which none of the other players involved remain on Portland's roster. The Blazers did net a late 1st, which they traded to Detroit for Jerami Grant.

Pelicans are out tanking us.

 

When the Pelicans won the lotto, they won 33 games, and had 6 teams with worse records, and were tied with Dallas.

That's not to say that the league hasn't already decided who will win the lotto, and they'd rather teams like the Pelicans or Utah get the pick than Portland.

 

I noticed that too, and laughed a little. I suspect it's knee related and tank related more than anything negative about him.

Like I said somewheres else, guy needs to hire a mentor to work on his game this summer. that should be priority #1 for him. I don't give a shit if he shoots 3's ever again, tbh.
