Their TS% was average for their day, whereas Shaedon's is below. Shaedon does need to improve his efficiency, but if he elevated it to the current average, that would increase his average per 36 by .78 points. Less than a point per game impact.

The far bigger issue is other things, his defense, passing (which has looked pretty good at times).

Of course, bad TS% is a huge problem collectively for the Blazers, as they are one of the worst in the league in that stat, and is a big contributer to them having on the worst offenses. Part of this is Billups.

Yeah it's difficult to be a useful NBA player when your inefficient at scoring, bad at passing, and a poor defender.

The defense is the really big difference. Intensity really helps a guy there.

You had every right to reply like asshole to me and you didn't, so respect to you for that.

You are still being tunnel visioned though. You didn't address any of the points I said once again. Sharpe is starting, he is having his highest usage in his career. It's just his 3's, and that's flat out on HIM, not the team, not Ant, not nothing.

if Sharpe's 3% was better this season his PPG would be a lot higher and he would be our leading scorer. We are not doing any disservice by playing Ant with him.

Your argument should be for Scoot, who isn't starting or getting the reps he should, not Sharpe.

How was Sharpe's game last night playing with Ant? and how was his 3% once again? He went 2 for 8 on 3's last night, got good looks. He just didnt flat out make them.

Will you actually address that? or just ignore that once again?

You say you don't hate Ant, so what exactly are you and that clown poster doing by saying 24/7 every week in here Ant needs to go? repeating yourself over and over isn't going to change anything.

You imo are always pushing fault on everything but the obvious, which is it's on Sharpe to improve his 3's. Point blank

You believe Shaedon Sharpe will possibly LOSE TWO HUNDRED million dollars because of the way he is shooting the 3 this season? Please make this make sense.

Franz Wagner got a max extension that could be worth up to $270 million back in July.

If Sharpe was shooting great from threes compared to his current crap 26% - maybe he could have got a similar deal. So thats how the difference could be even up to 100-200 million.

I’m not good with math man, but he isn’t only going to get $70 M. This kid is about to get paid. And OF COURSE if you shoot better, you’ll make more……but this dude isn’t missing out on $200M.

He's a decent piece. But if he's your best player, you suck.

He's more like a Cliff Robinson level player. ( but with better highlight reels)

Jerome Kersey with better hands. A starter on a finals team but he probably shouldn’t be your #1 or #2 option if you’re being serious about winning a trophy.

exactly. Why is the stupid around here is so eager to advertise it? Dude is 21. As someone who played a lot of hoops, I was sooooooo much better in my game and physically at age 25 then I was at 21. Maybe Shaedon and Scoot don't improve and are forever thought of as the rare phenomenal physical prospects who just treaded water in their 20's, or just maybe they improve by leaps and bounds as their skills & Bball IQ catch up to their still improving physical abilities? We shall see

totally agree. The weakness of his handle is precisely why he is tentative IMO... & its a skill that absolutely can be improved with practice

One thing to note is Sharpe has been pretty consistent this year, he doesn't have one game so far this year in which he has scored in single digits, scoring in double digits in every game this year.

So now will you admit Ant isn't affecting Sharpe?

Remember when you used a 3 game sample size?

We have way more sample size this year with Sharpe playing well next to Ant.

In January alone, he is averaging

    20.1 PPG
    4.4 REB
    3.4 AST
    45.3 FG %
    37.8 3pt FG%

This is why I chuckle when i hear it would be bad to be a .500 team this year. We will only get better.
