Horry has 7 rings and, while not All Star, played important part in winning all 7.

Cronin has done a great job. He made the decision to tank and get us three studs in Sharpe, Scoot, and DC. Didn’t capitulate to Miami and got us Jrue instead of Herro for Dame and flipped him and a pick for Deni and Robert Williams. Got us Camara. Built a small team into the tallest in the NBA.

What do you want him/her to do? We’re acquiring top level talent and letting them develop while tanking for one more top talent. IMO, when they all develop into stars and we start winning, YOU are not allowed to root for them because you were against the process used to get them.

The process started before the Dame trade getting us Sharpe and Scoot. Trades then got us Camara, RW, and Deni. Got us DC in draft. Will get us one more stud this year.

Depends. Is the “1st round pick” a top 10 pick or a 23rd pick?

“1st round pick” is as generic as “future considerations” or the term “cash”.

yeah. OKC has the assets to spare and then some. Wouldn't even feel giving up two FRP.

Jerami Grant and Duop just pulled up……as they got out of their respective cars, they gave each other a HUGE hug and then walked up the ramp together. Hmmm?

    This Jazz/Pels game is fantastic.
99-97 Jazz up with 7 minutes left. Not sure who I’m rooting for.

Nah, go Jazz. Gonna be harder for them to get enough wins to pass the Blazers.

Now with Zion back, I’m cool with the Pels winning and moving up past us

Super random, but is anyone else surprised that Kevin Johnson isn’t in the hall of fame? He averaged over 20 points and 10 assists several times, 3 time all-star, 5 time All-NBA, finals appearance… what gives?

    Basketball-reference is not surprised.

    upload_2025-1-21_8-52-56.png

I think the main problem for him was that while he basically averaged 20/10 over a 9 year stretch, he only overaged 66g/year over that stretch, and was never really "elite".
