Riverman -- Ayton 's problem is not as much on the offensive end it's the fact we could roll out a 63 year old Sam Bowie and he would prolly give more effort on the defensive end then Ayton.

I thought Ayton was putting in more effort in the second quarter.

I thought he was fine...a little rusty in the first qtr. I don't get the amount of hate the guy gets. We haven't had many 7ft centers who can run like him and shoot from midrange or make free throws and be a double double machine in a long time plus stay out of foul trouble. I think when Clingan is healthy it gives us a lot of options at the 5..Rob Will is the defensive guru on the team.

Broken clock is right twice a day so Ayton showing some life is not news it's the fact he never does it more then a short stretch here and there and I bet it happens when he is scoring a little too so if he is not doing anything on the offensive side of the ball he is just a 7 foot lump a crap who is over paid. -- period

we disagree..but somebody on this team always gets the Meyers treatment and this season it's him. He's had a couple lazy stretches but he's been solid the majority of his games as a Blazer

toumani and deni on the wings with scoot in the passing lanes is just menacing.

add clingan to protect the rim and we have our defensive lineup.

Because this is what it looks like to rebuild a team. I'm excited for the direction of this team, and they are definitely baking. I'm beginning to question Chauncey, but believe he deserves a long leash as the coach on a rebuild with multiple agendas.

    Ayton is comically bad.

    getting rim checked is fine.

losing control of the ball the next possession is fine.

not even crossing half court when you fuck up on either possession.... pathetic. get this pos off my team.

I like them pointing out Deni moving off ball, gets the pass from Scoot, then cash money.
More off ball movement is key.

We're stuck with him at this point for one more year.

Holding out the faintest of hope that he has a motivated contract year stretch and somehow dupes some sucker into trading for him. Guys like him only perk up when contracts are on the line.

Ayton blowing that oop from Scoot is unforgivable.

the thing i like most about scoot is his positivity and joy on the floor.

2nd most is his willingness to pass.

3rd is his defense. dude is a tenacious.
