Having a baby is only fun for so long. 12 years has got to piss you off a lot plus knowing that your kid's never going to grow up in your entire life. Weird...
At this point I think they would get even more creeped out if she did start growing up now, think about how creepy that would be cuz no one would be able to explain why it took so damn long for her to age.
The thing that is weird is how she never progressed mentally. I mean you would think that a kid would eventually pick up on words and things and start to mature mentally. Especially after 12 years. I know this sounds kind of mean but at this point the little girl is like a family dog. They feed her, play with her, but she cant talk back or anything.
It's a disease that's getting more coverage in news specials today. They average basically 10-12 years for every 1 real year and die by the time they're 10-15. By the time they're 7, they feel like they're 70 and so on.I doubt it is from inbreeding, it's more of a recessive/dominant trait thing or the conditions of how baby progresses from a fetus. Imbreeding only causes retardation.
That's really weird, I feel sorry for the girl. But it is fascinating how she didn't grow or anything. They had this link at the end of the video, check it out, it's hilarious:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMqA8smv7mo&NR

On Dateline, one of the kids lived to be 15. They don't all progress at 10 years, some progressed a lot faster (12-15) while some progressed at a slower rate (7-11).
