Are we sure it's not because of all the sexual misconduct?

They let Kobe in. What he did was much worse.

But why would Miami want those 3 meh picks over a 2031 unprotected from PHX?

Nevermind, more I think of it, it's likely to both be able to pay to move Beal, as well as land Butler. Couldn't do both with jus 1 pick.

Most bizarre stat of the night: Aaron Gordon played 22 minutes and didn’t grab a rebound. Denver played 13 players and he was the only one not registering a rebound.

It's so that Phoenix can make 2 or 3 smaller trades instead of 1 blockbuster trade.

If you have a $100 bill in your pocket, and you want options to buy a $30 object or a $60 object, and the sellers can't make change, you go to the bank and break the $100 into smaller increments.

The pick they gave is worth more than the combined 3 picks they got. But now they're flexible to accept smaller trades.

I suppose maybe it could be Milwaukee in a 3 or 4 team trade. I don't see how though. The Bucks are over the 2nd apron and Beal actually has a higher salary than Giannis or Dame; and 18M more than Middelton

now, if Milwaukee found a team willing to just trade a TPE for Connaughton they'd be under the 2nd apron and could aggregate salaries as long as they trade away more salary than they bring back

if it is the Bucks than Middleton + Lopez would be going out for Beal. That leaves them thin at C. I wonder if Timelord could be squeezed into this massive trade?

If MIL does that they are making a huge mistake. Another small ball dominant guard that doesnt defend? I love it. You would think they would watch an OKC game every now and then to see what will make them a dynasty for a few years: suffocating defense. Not to mention a treasure chest overflowing with assets.

To be fair, and I hope he heals quickly, I'm not sure he was all that helpful in that regard.

The circle blocks the view of a few more fans than the rectangle. This should be controversial. And how much did the clock company Tissot pay off the NBA? Two controversies.
