If Cronin can get a FRP for Timelord, I will start believing in him again, maybe

If that's all he does and both Ant and Jerami are on our roster for the rest of the season, not even getting a FRP for Rob will make me think that Joe is anything more than a terrible GM.

you will be thinking joe is a bad gm. Grant and Ant won't be moved. Neither will Ayton, of course. It's no secret Timelord cant play a lot of games. He will net a couple a seconds. It doesn't help his case any to wonder WTF he matched DAL's offer for Matisse. Another head scratcher. Even if healthy, Matisse is not what POR needs.

no to Tate unless Londale isn't part of it

sounds like Houston is pretty interested. Just hope Cronin don't overplay his hand

If Whitmore is offered, that has to be an immediate yes, right? Tate/Whitmore for Williams/Reath--would we even need any picks included for that to be a win?

I suspect there's a plurality to the teams that would be interested in Timelord. The dude is impactful despite his limitations. I think of PJ Tucker 2021 Championship Bucks X Factor potential. Cronin's job is to get those teams compete.

They literally offered 3 2nds last trade deadline since that's what they ended up using on Adams after pivoting.

I can't imagine the Blazers would want to do that since not much has changed except now Williams is healthy (as opposed to last season when he was injured and the Rockets STILL offered 3 2nds)

Cam makes Ant look like John Stockton passing the ball, but I still make that trade

    I understand negotiating 101

but I'm not buying the notion that the Blazers really wanted Timelord and are thinking he's part of Portland's future. It's possible that Cronin thought Timelord would be an easier player to trade than whoever else Boston was offering. And Timelord may have been the only player, besides Brogdon, Boston was willing to part with. In fact, since Celtics had traded Smart, Gallo, and Muscala for Porzingis 3 months earlier, Timelord may have been the only contract that worked with Brogdon. I'd assume they had no intention of trading White

Not sure why you'd compare those two. Cam is a play finisher and a damn good one already.

Not necessarily a "comparison" just a joke that everyone complains about Ant being a black hole, and Cam is far worse in that regards.

One is "supposed" to be a PG... The other is a wing. Much different roles, and therefore the metric of being a black hole is different too.

The Bucks should pick up Malcom Brogdan as well...he'd fit like a glove with Dame

    Video that breaks it down.

"Why are the Utah Jazz doing this?

They are betting against the future of the Phoenix Suns."

"Why are the Suns doing this?

    Because of the Stepien Rule.

It unlocks the Suns to trade picks in the next 6 years."

Bradley Beal possibly going to Milwaukee or Toronto. If Milwaukee, Pat Connaughton would have to be moved to become a 1st tier apron team.
