you don't know unions...I was a shop stewart for my union for a long time. Trust me...nothing will convince them...unions have intelligent leadership and are better organized than the GOP is by far. Don't assume Trump's words hold all this political currency. They really don't. You'll see. Last thing Trump wants is 4 years of battling the unions and there are many of them.

    Again, I hope you're right.

But I don't see how Trump wins the rust belt if you are right on this.

*Edit* I used to be a Teamster. I was raised by a family of Teamster truck drivers and dock workers. That's why I wasn't more surprised when Trump beat Hillary.

These people listen to right-wing radio and podcasts all day everyday at work. They are being brainwashed by the extreme right.

Because corporate hiring managers are more discerning than the group who goes the president?

Unions being dissolved wouldn’t be something that happens over night. It would take several administrations and decades to get rid of them. First step is weakening union power which essentially is happening with Trump’s Supreme Court picks.

Reagan didn't dissolve unions. He just greatly weakened them permanently. Airport tower controllers went on strike. Since a much bigger post office strike was approaching, he fired every air controller to make an example of them. The huge post office strike didn't really happen. That intimidation silenced unions for the rest of his presidency. (Okay, Federal goons infiltrating unions was another reason.)

(Reagan had been an intelligence agency "union president" circa 1950, Screen Actors Guild.)

Every other president elect without exception between election and inauguration separated themselves from business interests to avoid appearance of conflict of interest.

    Trump did the opposite.

Friday before inauguration he launched his personal cryptocurrency. A means for anyone to give him unlimited money without intermediary of sneakers or Bibles. In plain language, bribes.

Something that did not exist five days ago now accounts for 89% of Trump's personal wealth and has made him one of the world's 25 richest people.

Trump once sued Laurence O'Donnell for saying on air Trump was not a true billionaire. He is now.

Putin was a low ranking officer when he took power, he is now one of the richest people in the world.

Trump rescinded Biden executive order lowering price of prescription drugs for people using Medicare or Medicaid. Make senior citizens sick again!

I’m sure a lot of those seniors voted for Trump. They already have egg on their face.

    And eggs are still expensive.

Pam Bondi assured senators she opposed pardons for January 6 defendants who committed violence. Trump pardoned them all.

As I pointed out in a post a couple of weeks ago when I got my first prescription of Eliquis in 2025, Big Pharma and the insurance company already found a work around. They are now just spreading my cost over the entire year and I am now paying $500 a year MORE than I did in previous years. The American public is never gonna win because corporate profits trump (pun partially intended) the public interest. Though the typical Republican will claim that corporate profits ARE in the public interest. American life these days is nothing more than whack a mole. Close one insidious loophole that screws the little person and another immediately opens....THAT is the so called "great" America they want to get back to. Unfortunately, it never left.......

Trump pardoned 1500 insurrectionists, and most were complicit in the assault of the entire legislative branch of govt including the VP and 140 police officers. Inexcusable.

The VP wasn’t assaulted. Neither were 140 police officers. Neither was any member of the legislative branch. These grandiose exaggerations and straight up lies are why your side is never taken seriously and talked down to like children.

They love church except when they have to hear about what Jesus believes or did or anything Christ-like. They look like the worthless frauds that they are, squirming in their chairs. It took all their might not to jump up and tell her to shut up.

Another executive order allows Trump to grant highest level security clearance to anyone he wants with no background checks. Again, what could possibly go wrong?

He escaped the scaffolding if that's what you mean but everyone was assaulted by a mob kid....get over your simple cynical troll speak. It's all on camera and documented by a lengthy investigation with 400 witnesses...you're not dumb enough to think I've got a "side".....I'm anti right wing MAGA crazy whack jobs but I'm not a partisan flag waver at all..that's how much you know about who you argue with. Be better. Insult me all you want but make sure it's me and not some preconceived "team" you crave a sparring match with. Fuck the MAGA movement in America. Fuck Project 25. That's my party. I vote for tolerance and equality.

Lol. You’re just lying. You can try to obscure it with your “I care about more about the country than you” BS but I can see right through it. It’s just fake nonsense to try and excuse your lies and exaggerations.

ooh...insults and your, "obscure" favorite reference. Grabbing an "I care about country more than you out of your ass" You can call me a liar for disagreeing with you because that's all you got kid...your old "my dad can beat up your dad" routine is fucking adolescent. You can't see right through anybody, you just want to practice rage ranting and baiting paritsan bullshit. Go back to work and stop wasting your boss' money arguing politics on somebody else's dime if you're such a glowing example of young America walk the fucking walk. You're not important as you pretend to be. Exaggerate some of that. This is where we part company.
