Sorry good for the guys but for me least satisfying win of the year!!! Scoot and Sharpe not starting and low minutes.

keep this up and one will ask to be traded

i don't think you're getting black AND their pick. black is intriguing as the 3rd guard.

There is no positive take in this case. You are totally correct. Chauncey is doing his job, reeling a team back in that looked like he had lost but Joe is asleep at the wheel. Trading our vets for prospects, picks and matching contracts that we can either waive or not play the guy attached to it should have been done in the off season and there just isn't a reason why those moves need to wait another two weeks... they should have been made as soon as they were available.

I hope Joe pulls his head out of his ass and does the right thing here because he is blowing it and I just don't trust him to have the right vision on this. Could be a really terrible day as a Blazers fan two weeks from now but I'm hoping that there'll be a day between now and then that brings clarity to the direction of this team.

Finally we agree on something. Please trade the vets and let the young bucks play so we can get them experience and generate some losses.

What we are doing now is pointless and has the potential to set us back for many years. Ace Bailey, Cooper Flagg, Harper, etc are franchise cornerstones we cannot afford to miss on

I am a huge Karate Kid movie fan the OG one and there is a line from the movie that sums up Cronin and the way he is running this team

"Walk on road, hm? Walk right side, safe. Walk left side, safe. Walk middle, sooner or later... get the squish just like grape."

Cronin is trying to win some games to keep the fans happy ( or Jody / whoever runs this team ) and coming to the Rose Garden but the plan is hurting the growth in terms of Scoot , Sharpe , Camara , DC and others so in the end this team is not going to get into the playoffs and the young players are not growing enough to get this team back to the playoffs with a rebuild. This is why if Cronin cannot get it done by the time the deadline ends then Jody needs to have the balls to fire both Cronin and Billups and find a GM and a HC that can get this rebuild done or at least on the right path.

Very disappointing to see Billups ignore Scoot Henderson's string of solid games and go with Anfernee Simons.

Scoot looked like he was on his way to breaking out, and his own coach shut him down.

Billups talks about "attacking defense" and where does he see that in Anfernee Simons?

Chauncey is full of crap. The possible answer is right there and he doesn't have the nuts or brains to make it happen.

We have a better record than Philly. Would they be interested in a trade for Ant, Ayton, and/or Grant?

Man what Camara did to Banchero was criminal. He’s quickly becoming me favorite current Trail Blazer.

    This is an absolute joke.
We traded Dane cause we were stuck/tired of mediocrity. it’s turning to be the same thing when we’re supposed to be rebuilding

I’m enjoying these wins thoroughly. This is the best defense we’ve seen in years.

Right. We caught a weak Chicago team on a four game losing streak, a Miami team in total disarray and then Orlando that just doesn't have an offense and haven't had all their players healthy.

Orlando was also on a 4-game losing streak. Losing by 29 in Milwaukee, by 27 in Boston , by 13 at home against Denver, and by 16 in Toronto.

Right. If i didn't know already that he was the first pick in the draft and is in his third year, I sure never would have guessed it. (Is that the worst sentence syntax ever?)
