Apparently after losing the team, Chauncey found them.

Seriously though, Chauncey may or may not be a good coach, but I never saw signs of him losing the team this year.

For some reason, I'm picturing the name tag on his office door saying Lost & Found.

Don’t we already have that defensive guard guy in Thybulle? Of, course, he’s been out the entire season. I can’t figure out if he’s really as injured as his missed games would suggest or if he’s “tank injured”.

Not sure if anybody noticed, but pre tip Dame walked over to give some hugs to some of the Blazers coaching staff.....and then went over to Joe and Jody and gave big hugs. Class act right there.

Neither Cole nor Black is as good as Deni. as a backup PG. As we saw last night Deni, for a big portion of the game was the lead ball handler. He plays well next to Sharpe and Ant in that role. So if we want to let Deni continue to be Deni, he needs to have a shooter or two next to him.

So while Grant makes absolute sense to move, I see no reason why Ant needs to go. Not saying not to trade him if the right package comes along but I do not see the urgency with him as I do with Grant. I hope that next year we will not be in the lottery, and I think Ant provides a need that will help them win games. If we draft a forward then we will need him. However, if we draft a guard......then I would trade him this summer. Or possibly trade him to move up a couple of spots in the draft to get one.

Good to hear. Maybe the Dame Cronin beef is history.

Thybulle wasn't good enough to play for a 6ers team with below average wings. I just don't see him ever providing value to the rotation.

I mean he's probably better than a remix/Gleague player, but he's certainly worse than All our starters and our primary backups. Maybe he beats out 3rd string Rupert/Murray types if there's an injury or something.

We all heard the last two years that this team was being rebuilt around Scoot and Sharpe at guards.

Camara and Deni are making a much better case for rebuilding it around both of them as forwards.

Ayton was on fire after Tou's poster over Lopez. I like seeing him fired up when a teammate does well. Those little things makes me reconsider trade ideas for me. He is 26. The beard makes him look old but he is still young and incredibly talented. He delivers that kinda game consistently then I have no problems with him on the roster. I just don't see a guy like him taking minutes from DC, who may never be a 35 min/game guy in this league. Yeah he has his quirks but who doesnt?

Somebody needs to seriously figure out how to get him fired up every game.

I honestly think the intentional tanking is a factor. There is no incentive for these guys to get fired up every game. They know the fans want them to lose.

We have to hypnotize him and make him believe he's playing against Giannis every game. He seems to play against him like a guy wth an ax to grind or something to prove.

in Ayton's case, just about all the criticisms of his game and attitude as a Blazer were leveled at him in Phoenix...and the Suns weren't tanking

    ok

doesn't change what Phoenix fans were saying about him. On the RealGM trade board a lot of Suns fans came up with a lot of hypothetical trades for dumping Ayton. And that disdain was shifted into turbo mode after Ayton got that offer sheet from Indiana

I don't think Phoenix fans or the front office have their fingers on the pulse of team chemistry. They gave us Ayton and Toumani for Nurk, Little and Johnson...Little isn't even in the league anymore. Ayton is thrilled to be out of Phoenix and he needed to get away from that franchise more than they needed to move him..now Nurk wants out of there too....apparently fans don't like him either. That place is a revolving door for players and coaches.

Get his feet moving on offense constantly and feed him for easy buckets at every opportunity.

Setting screens isn't a strength, but his foot speed for his size is.

We're building around all 4 of them, and that's a good thing. I'm not of the belief that we must trade Ant, as this is a dynamic trio of guards who bring their own value. I feel you underestimate what Thybulle brings, and if he does intend to play, will fit perfectly while Rupert develops.
