Have you seen the teams they faced? Holy shit it's fuckjng awful. One good team so far? The rest suck so their defense better be good.

Camara might even be the best player on our roster.

I really can't tell with this stupid Grant Ayton Ant big3 standing in our young players way that Cronin constructed.

Watching him tonight I legit wondered if he was the best defender in the league.

maybe the best perimeter defender (excluding the big guys). Jrue is still pretty good but has lost a step. Herbert Jones has been excellent most times I've watched him. Jaden McDaniels was a lockdown defender last season

This guy is my next jersey buy. I just don't see the Blazers trading him.

"Steal of 23' draft," no pun intended.

    I was curious:

at the 2023 draft combine, Toumani was 6'7 w/o shoes; 8'11 standing reach; 7'05 wingspan; 220 lbs. Great length and size

on paper, those look like optimal measurements for a player capable of guarding all 5 positions. Some PG's might be a little too quick for him and some C's might be too big, but everybody in-between is on lock-down notice

Beyond that, his fundamentals are fantastic. They were fantastic in summer league. It's not surprising that Cronin wanted him. Kris Murray is in the same mold, nothing flashy but solid. The 2nd round pick Camara is the one who's elevated from draft day.

Absolutely LOVE this dudes game. My favorite players have always been guys you don’t have to run a play for, yet they have a positive affect/effect on the game. His work rate is off the charts! I don’t care about his scoring….anything we get from him on that end is gravy.
Hope he’s is with us for a long time.

Camara, Avdija, and Clingan look good moving forward with plenty of work to do for all three -- and all three should be long-time Blazers. Sharpe is showing growth at all 3 levels on O. His D needs time, effort, motor, and teammates setting that example ... along with a new HC next season. I'm hopeful. Rupert and Murray are in development. TimeLord is apparently still valued.

Just waiting for the rest of the clean-up on aisle 13 -- Simons, Grant, Ayton, Thybulle.

Sat courtside last game and gotta say…

he’s even more impressive up close. My new comparison: Draymond Green with less playmaking. I like they’re using him more in the short roll and letting him guard off the ball too. I see Draymond literally impact at his peak.

It was criminal to leave him off the original roster, but I'm happy he's in there now.
