If this coach has a brain which I’m not sure he does any longer he’ll put Lafreniere and Cuylle with Miller. Smith with Panarin and Trochek and Kaliyev with the two morons and give them the same, if not less ice time than the fourth line.

Yep, Laf needs to be separated from Panarin. The sooner, the better

I had wanted to see Laf play the right side. But whether it’s playing with Panarin or playing his off-wing he is just not developing there. He always looks more dangerous when he finds himself carrying the puck up the left boards on his strong hand. On the right he carries on his backhand and stops moving his feet, looking cross ice. He doesn’t open his hips and look to make a play often enough. His first instinct is to protect the puck with his body. I agree, him back on the left next to Miller. Better puck control might see him attack the net more and move his feet. Cuylle rounds out that line nicely.

It also helps that Kreider is no longer playing like a top 6 forward and likely wont be here opening day next year. That 2LW spot is wide open for him.

    Next season.

    Lafreniere-Miller-Cuylle
    Othmann-Trochek-Perreault
    Panarin-UFA-Kreider
    Rempe-Carrick-Edstrom

I think Kreider will rebound next season a little. Zibanedouche has to go at all costs. Find a free agent stop gap for the third line center until a kid is ready or trade for a young center.

Panarin has been of the best star free agents signing but I can’t stand the way he plays now sometimes with that stupid east west bs. He is also a turnover machine.

What about Berard on the third line instead Kreider or Panarin. I like his game

Laf isn't developing because he's lazy, played hard last year to get his money now he can sit back and watch the bank account fatten up while the stat sheet gets lean.

Miller will be a perfect kick in the ass to Lafreniere. Probably a reason Drury wanted him so badly. Berard is certainly an option. Panarin is still needed here to get the team to the playoffs. Kreider would probably be the odd man out but that would be a tough one for me. He was probably the biggest reason with Shesterkin they beat the Canes two years in a row in the playoffs.

Miller was the best player in the deal by a mile. Giving up a first. Don't like it. Can they get an extra first back? Yes. A package of Lindgren and Smith should get a late first rounder back. Smith is having a good year and he's money in the playoffs. Lindgren has become vastly underrated by this fan base. Fox is the moron on that pair. However, if you trade them, you are giving up this season.

Stop being a contrarian. Fox is not the moron on that pair. In fact neither of them are hockey morons. The fact is that Lindgren has too many physical limitations to provide a balance on that pair. He can’t skate the puck out of trouble, doesn’t handle it well, and is not a good passer. He used to win battles by taking punishment and just getting to to Fox who would get it up ice. He’s not able to that anymore to the same effect, requiring Fox to battle more. As a result the pair spends more time hemmed in the zone. It’s clear as day and the numbers back it up.

Fox needs a guy who can retrieve and get the puck to him quickly in space. It ain’t Lindgren anymore.

Lindgren has been a warrior here, but it is time to move on from him and get a pick in return before the trade DL in March. Then over the summer Drury needs to add a legit LD to pair with Fox. You do that and suddenly the Rangers D is looking pretty darn solid with Miller, Schneider, and Borgen on board with Fox and the new LD added.

Upfront, let Othmann and Perreault play, and maybe look to add a decent winger to replace Smith. Then move forward.

The questions will be can they move Zibanejad (that is up to Zibanejad with a NMC AND will someone take his salary), and do you look to move Kreider.

I think the Rangers are not far off from being right back near the top next season with the right moves, a LD partner to pair with Fox, and a solid winger added this summer.

Get it done Drury, and I think the Rangers could win the Cup next season. I feel like 2025-2026 will be their season.

Shove it up your ass and wake the fuck up. Fox has played like an unmotivated pussy this year. You’re the only one that doesn’t know it. Lindgren came back from an injury way too early. For the money he’s getting paid Fox has sucked moose dick this year. Accept it you ass jabber

You are incapable of hearing any opinion but your own without resorting to a pathetic tough guy attitude. “Shove it up your ass” and “ass jabber” lol what are we even doing here? I’m done man. You can’t talk hockey with children like you. I wish the rest of you guys the best. This shit ain’t worth it.

He’s a moron who doesn’t understand what he’s watching when he turns on games. Like Miller centering Zibanedouche and Panarin. Beyond moronic. Coach being fired is the next move.

Anybody who thinks Fox has been anything but a heaping pile of shit this year is a fucking moron. I’ve supported Fox when others on this board hated him. The bottom line is if your power-play is going to be garbage Fox is completely useless. Fox is flat out lazy this season. For what he gets paid it’s not worth it.

Got what they deserved there. Terrible O zone penalty, followed by a terrible undisciplined penalty by Lindgren, leads to essentially a 5 on 3 goal. Get your S together.

JT already paying dividends. I think this is going to be an awesome deal by Drury.
