Isn’t Dalton a little repetitive on their team, couldn’t we use some shooting? I’m not a huge fan but…

I think Reaves for Williams is fair. The salaries match 1 for 1. And Reaves has been wanted by other teams so we could flip him if we chose to.
Like someone else said, the Lakers are desperate for a defensive big right now.

Reaves is worth way more than Timelord lol. Probably the 2nd or 3rd most valuable Lakers asset after Luka and maybe Dalton.

Sure if the Lakers have another option to get a defensive-minded center. But what else do they have to offer? Vanderbilt and filler? We already have our Vanderbilt in Camara.

But if they are not going give us an FRP (and I doubt they will) then why take their trash back? We don't need to trade Williams. If he stays healthy he will be worth more than Austin Reeves next year. If he can't .......we let him walk.

They traded AD and a FRP for Luka. Seriously every time you say this bullshit you sound foolish.

Because he looked good next to LBJ and AD? You think if he was on the Blazers he would be worth as much? Maybe but I don't see him as a PG on many teams. And he is not better than Sharpe at SG
So to me, he is not worth that much. It all comes down to need. And what the Lakers need is a center.

Dalton/Luka/AR seem a little repetitive when you don’t have anyone on the roster that can defend the paint.

Seems to me that Dal could use some scoring (Ant) and LAL could use some Rim protection and Length (RW3). Now who can use Grant?

Well, they do have Kyrie and Clay ast guards, so if they were to take one of our high-salary players I think it would be Grant. Unfortunately, they just don't have the matching salaries unless they include PJ Washington. And as I recall he played well for them last year in the playoffs. So I can't see Dallas being an option for either of them.

OKC and Spurs are going to be very tough for years.

Fox wanted SA and he got it. And Sac recovers with ZL. Who are the other teams involved? What did Chicago get?

You never know. After OKC played in 2012 Finals, I thought they’d be making more trips there and now it’s 2025 and still haven’t returned. Back in 2020, Suns looked to have bright future and now they suck only 5 years later. And then there’s Dallas of course. Teams fuck it up all the time.

LaVine and three firsts for Fox seems decent.

But those picks might not be all that good.
