    A recent article said LeBron effectively has a no-trade clause, somehow stemming from his 2-year extension with player outs, but didn't elaborate on it. I think Beal is the only official one.

    Rumor is Knecht was as well as a second 1st round pick. Then Lakers negotiated him out for the same reasons Mavs wanted to trade him. His conditioning and concerns spending that much money and being stuck like the Pelicans with Zion.

    Durant makes over 51M. Reaves + Knecht make under 17M. Lakers are only 1.6M below 2nd apron so they'd have to send out salary equal to Durant's. They'd have to come up with 34M more in salary
