Team Mitch is far and away the better team. It’s fun that we have 3 players in this event. I’ll watch.
Who starts? I would lean toward... Scoot, Amen, Camara, Ausar, Missi. But, I will admit not knowing much about Bilal.
Crazy that Scoot is so far down this list. Goes to show how under the radar Portland is. There are going to be so many lobs on Mitch's team. I really hope they win and face the All Stars. I can't wait for Camara to take every lackadaisical shot attempt by the vets seriously. He's going to embarrass some old asses.
You have to believe that some of these youngsters are going to be so amped for the opportunity to play against the all-stars that the rising stars games are going to be highly competitive.
We can't be that far under the radar. Going into last nights game the two hottest teams in the league were us and Indy. We now have the longest win streak in the league at 6 and the next best are the Celtics at 4. We are also one of only two teams who are 9-1 over the last 10 games, us and the Grizzlies. I doubt teams including the Pacers last night are overlooking us. I don't think we're flying under the radars of coaches in the league maybe we're still under the radar as far as media is concerned but I'm sure the teams around the league have taken notice.
Yeah, I think the three games to see who gets to play against the all stars will be hard fought, then I expect the young players who win that mini tourney to really want to make a statement against the vets and the vets to actually care and not want to get embarrassed by the rising stars winner. So we'll at least see four competitive games and if the rising stars tourney winner beats their first All Star opponent then that last game will be highly competitive as well. I don't think the format will change how guys who have been named all stars will play against each other but I'm open to being surprised.
