I still think Nate is one of the best coaches in the league when it comes to teaching a young group how to find their way and win, especially on the defensive end. But the problem is, as we all know… What’s the point in making the playoffs when he’s coaching.

Chauncey is now TRUSTING Anfernee Simons even when he is clearly being outplayed by Scoot Henderson.

Chauncey thinks this is a positive that he is showing his trust and loyalty to Simons.

Some of you might agree with Billups, but for others we are pulling our hair out wondering what the hell is going on.

When was the last time Scoot was even allowed to play clutch minutes?

I remember when rookies and younger players regardless, had to come off the bench and pay their dues. Scoot and Shaedon are getting consistent minutes and probably will be starters by 3/4 ways through the year if not sooner, if trades happen.

Come on guy be better, we are playing good, the players are busting their ass for Billups, there is lots of good positive things to talk about right now, yet you guys still want to throw some negative shady around lol.

Now is not the time for that, in fact it looks silly

Clutch means the end of the game.

Scoot Henderson played 22 minutes and Anfernee Simons played 42 minutes. how many minutes of those are clutch minutes?

was it clutch minutes the reason that Scoot Henderson was pulled out of the game after the end of the third quarter / before the fourth quarter when the Blazers looked like could tip the balance?

It's amazing how many posters seem to think we can't second guess coaches, GM's and players. Isn't that one of the main functions of a forum, a place to do that?

There are a few things at play here. We live in a society where people are quick to broadcast how terrible others are, often without much self-reflection on why they feel so angry.

Take Chauncey, for example. He has dedicated himself to his craft, and through hard work, he has reached the highest level. Regardless of personal opinions on his approach, there should be some appreciation for what he has accomplished. It's easy to be bitter about someone else's success, but that's when self-reflection matters most.

On the other side, when so-called "fans" bash him in forums and on social media, it fuels negativity that spills into the arena, leading to boos. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t enjoy being on the receiving end of that.

There's a big difference between saying, "I don’t agree with his decisions," and "That guy is terrible."

Yes, but the timing is a little odd right now. Billups has been bashed many times here, sometimes he deserves it, other times I think people are being over the top.

Right now Billups has these guys playing hard and busting their ass for him, their defense and hustle has been very solid lately. Lots of credit goes to Billups for that. There is lots of positives to look at right now, so it's kind of odd to me some would revert back to complaining about him at this moment.

Correct. not only that but spills into Portland’s social media like Facebook and IG.

Yet when you see the Blazers highlights posted on ESPN social media pages or youtube and NBA'S youtube, the worldwide comments are quite positive, which is refreshing.

Portland as a whole has been a mess over the last 5-7 years, and that seems to be rubbing off on so called "Blazer fans" that feel like spilling negativity any chance they can get is the "cool" thing to do in Portland now, so to speak.

Heck I've seen people throw negative shade on Deni last week, posting things like get him out of Portland, his kind shouldn't be on the team, and other bs because of where Deni is from. Portland white trash 101 comments

    If you know, you know.

That's a big if, a big if. I hope you're right, then all of this will have made a bit more sense.

Seems that in our society ones that preach tolerance the most are least tolerant of all.

All the Chauncey haters are too stubborn and arrogant to eat crow. Not surprising.
