Charlotte would probably prefer Reath or Walker at center. They trying to capture the Flagg.

LA getting Williams, I think they will move on from Wood

They are second from the bottom in the east. They don't have to play a true center for their goal.

Unless Mark Williams improves to an above average starter that's an overpay from LAL.

I thought they'd be able to get a big and a defensive wing with their FRP.

I understand moving on from Dalton as that's not really an archetype you need with Luka. But that's 3 nice assets they gave up for Mark.

So Ant to Orl and Rob to Hou, that’s what we’re thinking now?

That ‘31 pick won’t be that great. Wemby will be a LAL by then. Not kidding.

Joe is a joke. POR is destined for play in ceiling.

I assume Woods just stays as a backup like he's been all year.

Probably more likely Joe gives Ant and Ayton extensions than we trade either of them.

We need to keep the Ayton Ant Grant trio all here until at least 2028.

I was looking at their roster and they are loaded with backup C’s, plus Wood has been injured. I see them dealing him this summer for assets.

...have you seen how well Mark has been playing for the past couple months now? :dunno: when your team just had the luckiest gift wrap bullshit handed to you on a silver platter, you pay a tiny bit extra for an emerging big like the one they just got. Fuck the Lakers!

Have to admit I'm not watching a lot of Hornets games lately. If he is an average starting center or better then yeah it's worth it.

if the Lakers would have offered that unprotected 1st for Timelord, the deal would have been done

but I'm pretty sure they would have never dreamed of offering that, not for an injury magnet like TL. But wait....William is an injury magnet too!

    what gives?

I get the numbers are nice but I feel like he’s always hurt, maybe I’m just not paying attention.

He's on a one year minimum salary - any other team that wants him can just sign him.

I don't think anyone's going anywhere. Maybe Matisse Thybulle? He has a player option for next season.

Fine then, still doesn’t change much from what I stated and doesn’t help your statement either.

in his first 2 seasons, Williams played in 62 games and missed 102. This season he's played in 22 games and missed 15

so, for his career he's played 84 games and missed 117. That's probably better than Timelord, but not by much. The difference is Williams has a salary of 4M. TL has a salary over 12M and the Lakers are butting up against the 2nd apron
