    Lakers' trade for Hornets center Mark Williams has been rescinded, team says.
    The deal was scrapped 'due to failure to satisfy a condition of the trade,' the Lakers announced in a brief statement.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Lakers rescinded their trade to acquire Mark Williams from Charlotte because the center failed his physical, a person with knowledge of the circumstances told The Associated Press on Saturday night.

    The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Lakers didn’t plan to make a public announcement of their reason for scrapping the deal.

    It's kind of ironic...Laker go for Williams instead of Timelord because he 8M cheaper and he's too injured to pass the physical. Then Timelord injures his knee 2 days after the deadline

    Lakers were looking at used C's in the wrong lot

    I’m gonna miss Hubie Brown. I feel like I grew up with him. It always seemed like I listened a little more when he was calling a game.
