For the game to be competitive ......Timelord needs to play. There is a good chance Clingan will get into foul trouble

 

Jokic is so freaking good its insane.

He has 3pt shooting better than any season of Dirk or Curry career (42% vs 45% vs 46% Jokic)
On pace to make more 3's over playing 82 games than Dirk ever did (151 vs 172 Jokic)
Passing better than any of Jason Kidd best non-lockout seasons (10.1 assists vs 10.3 Jokic)
Averaging more rebounds than any season of Patrick Ewing career (12.1 vs 12.5 Jokic)

He has improved his already MVP game so much he should probably be considered for most improved player.

 

Sure appears like Jokic will get the MVP again unless he gets hurt or something. That will be 4 MVP's in 5 seasons. The one season in the middle he will have came in 2nd in MVP voting to Embiid and hilariously got bumped to 2nd team All-NBA.

Probably not many players that had MVP's in 4 of 5 years.

 

Kareem had 6 but never more than two in a row (1971, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1980). So he did have 5 in 7 seasons.
Jordan had 5 but only two in a row (1988 1991 1992 1996 1998)
Russell had 5 and three in a row (1958 1961 1962 1963 1965) He had 4 in 5 years

Wilt had 4 and three in a row (1960 1966 1967 1968)
Lebron has 4 MVP's in 5 years 2009-2013 with Rose getting one in the middle

Assuming Jokic wins it this season he'll only trail Jordan/Kareem/Russell. Sure looks like he's dominant enough to win next year as well which would give him 3 in a row and only trailing Kareem.

Only guys with 3 are Bird, Magic, Moses Malone, Dr J (ABA). So even the group of 10 players Jokic is in with today to have won 3 is pretty damn special.
