    Serious question: does anyone actually give a shit about All Star weekend? It's pretty much unwatchable. I guess if I had to pick one event it would be the rookie game, except it's not called that any more and it's not a single game?

    My little one is a production assistant this weekend down there at multiple events. They call them runners in our industry. Go make copies, pick up coffee and get lunch for the crew. Well this morning a guy walks up to her and says,”Hey are you Olivia?”
    It was a childhood friend of mine and and local hip hop legend Cool Nutz…..and just so happen to be with Bay Area hip hop legend E-40. Lead singer of Tony Toni Tone had just walked off as they took this picture. Love she is getting this cool kind of experience at this young of an age. Not many still love the all star game weekend, but she’ll never forget it. Like me in ‘88 standing out in the parking lot in the rain at the Kingdome all star weekend trying to get autographs. Hip hop heads might find this kinda cool.

    How does changing the format make the players care on defense? I loved All Star weekend when I was a teenager. They used to have a mascot dunk contest in the morning and that was fun. Real dunk contest had a lot of creativity too, They tried in the All Star Game. You got to see who was the best of the best. I thought McGrady looked great when matched up with the top players in the league. And then the 2001 All Star game was awesome. Last year was the worst ever.

    Answer: Yeah, my teammate Donovan Clingan. I think he deserves to be here. He's been wonderful for us and he's killing it right now.
