You picked Arizona, who did win their game, but they failed to win by more then 7.5 (The Spread). Since they failed to cover the Spread, that means that San Francisco won that particular bet.

    I am allready in 2 pickem leagues in Yahoo, so it wouldnt let me sign up,,,An easy way to help someone understand the spread is, who ever is the underdog, add the spread points to the score before the game starts. If the Favorite wins he covered, if he dont he dont cover, If its a tie, thats a push. Simple way to explain it to those new to the betting thing...When you use the spread you dont use the acutual game score. Hope that helps..
