One is a right wing nut job with almost 10k followers, while the other is a lighthearted account that does polls with almost 800k followers. But like I said, ok

Phil Jackson is neither, yet he doesn’t watch any more for that very reason.

 

The NBA has been unwatchable since David Stern took over and manipulated the system in favor of big market teams. It has only gotten worse since the biggest stars leverage their way to the Lakers (and the Warriors to a degree) and the league bends over backwards to facilitate it....and encourages it. Because TV ratings drive the bus. It's tough watching Trailblazer games knowing they need a lightning strike coupled with a miracle to ever have any hope of winning a ring. We're the sad sack Washington Generals because that is where the league wants us. And it certainly doesn't look like the league is interested in changing that dynamic anytime soon. Portland's job is to serve as cannon fodder for the rest of the league.

 

Terry Stotts was right...whoever shoots the 3 best wins in the modern NBA...that's what killed the NBA playbook. Players barely know how to set a screen or throw an oop in the modern game it's all drive and kick or shoot from deep with 3 secs off the shot clock.
