None of the other times, tho, for both the NHL or MLB, had actually reached this stage.

    So there is that.

Still not holding my breath. NOT because I don't think it could work here (it would), I just think MLB is so hell bent on giving Vegas a team, they'll trip over their dicks first.

Vegas already got a team. The As. They want 2 new teams regardless of the As. 1 in the West and 1 in the East

Jokes on them, Vegas is about to dry up because all the old people are losing their social security and the economy is crashing.

Vegas getting the As is FAAAAAARRRRRR from a done deal. The same cheapness from the owner that ended the As in Oakland is killing them in Vegas.

With all the Jumbo's coming un from the Orient you can count on baseball being big in Vegas.

Yep, and the same issues that happened with the A's in Oakland (cheap ass owner, etc) will continue in Vegas.

Chasing shiny objects is a dumb way to go through life. And the Raiders, Chargers and Athletics are going to learn that the hard way.

No they aren't. They can't start building anything until they have the permits, and they don't have them.

    https://thenevadaindependent.com/ar...-peek-with-spring-training-stadium-renderings

"The A’s can’t begin construction until the team has a building permit, contingent on site approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The agency is accepting public comment through March 22 on potential hazards from the stadium’s construction. "

Interesting thing tho, their stadium is apparently on 9 acres, and is about 33K capacity, but people are acting like the 15 acres they did for the Portland one is too small.

    33k seems so small.

in todays MLB, that's the size that teams are aiming for. Only 8 teams last year averaged over 33K, no reason to go above that.
