Drury should’ve signed Shestekin to 13 million because why not. He will only allow 4 goals a game instead of another less expensive goalie

That summed up this season perfectly. Losing a very winnable game because of stupid plays by incompetent players. Should’ve been sellers. Team is majorly in trouble with this coach and this core.

Fuck Laviolette for ducking the two many men on the ice penalty question...what a piece of shit.

Very frustrating seeing how dangerous Stutzle - third overall that year - was all game. And has been all season. If Laf had even half that guy's drive and creativity we would be in a much better position.

That was brutal. "Better execution" - try "better coaching.

I still don’t get it why he inserted Kreider and scratched Berard who would provide more than CK. What does this new Finnish kid do well? Some weird ass decisions

Again Drury thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. Maybe wait and see how he does this season and then try to resign him? I think Laf will be a nice complimentary player but it does look like he is not going to drive his lines or the team. It’s just who he is at this point.

These last 2 losses to Ottawa will probably be the difference between getting in or not. At MSG they had a pp tied with 2 min left and lose with 20 secs to go, and then today a chance for 2 clean points. Too much boneheaded stuff for one year.

Lafreniere is frustrating, because it does appear to be an effort/drive thing, which means it's on him to play and work harder. Does he work in the offseason to improve his game? Not sure because I haven't seen him improve in many areas, especially skating.

You have to hope this isn't a case of getting paid, and now half a**ing it. Maybe he will rededicate himself this summer after a crappy season, he has the talent if he does and if he wants it.
