Apparently our team has their head up their ass again, defensively.

he is cooked but has been a great penalty killer, which alone isn’t a reason to keep him. He’s a must-go this offseason if we are serious about contending next season.

If only the trade deadline was this weekend then maybe Drury could keep doing nothing hahahaha. Like I said yesterday, this isn’t a playoff team. They cannot beat playoff caliber teams

I think everyone should be fired, Drury and Lav. I knew the Rangers wouldn't be that good this season after Drury's disastrous summer, but I didn't think they would be this bad. I figured 3rd in the Met or WC, and neither are happening. When that happens, and you play this poorly, it's time to start with new leadership at Pres, GM, and coach. Won't happen, because Dolan will not fire Drury, but it should be step one.

After that I think you ABSOLUETLY have to deal Zibanejad, Kreider, Panarin, Fox or K. Miller, at least one MUST go. If all 5 are back, it's over before the season even starts. I said it last summer, and was 100% correct, and I'll say it again this summer. And for the record, my # 1 on that list is Zibanejad by a mile. I have grown to hate everything about him. He's soft, absolutely REFUSES to shoot the puck, and he's lazy. I know it may be impossible with his NMC, but I do EVERYTHING in my power to deal Zibanejad, even if you get a bag of pucks to move his contract or trade him with a 4th round pick to move him. He's # 1 on my must go list.

To finish out the season, play more kids. Let's see what we have. I'd call up a few of them and let them play. It's also why Drury should have traded more vets away in a seller's market, but I digress on that. Watching some kids and seeing if we trade this year or next year's 1st round pick is all that's left for this season. Math is tough, it's why I felt strongly they weren't making the playoffs after their horrific Nov and Dec.

On we go, and it should be with a new Pres/GM/coach.

They’re soft, sloppy, refuse to defend and aren’t buying into anything as a group. Don’t skate well, pass well or take the body. I’m disgusted with what they have become coming off a President’s Trophy season and ECF appearance.

Other than that they are great...:).

You left out, they are allergic to shooting, especially Zibanejad.

It's time for MAJOR changes before next season, now it has to be obvious even to Drury.

It’s not unprecedented for this franchise. 1991-92 they won the President’s Trophy, 1992-93 they missed the playoffs and of course in 93-94 they won the cup.

The difference is there’s no apparent backbone of this team to try and get back at it next season. Also, probably for the 20th time they made no moves to improve off last year and watched the team lose depth and get worse.

Need to get stronger, quicker, more detail oriented and find a leader(maybe that's Miller). And find a defensive system that doesn't have 3 guys taking one man and still not coming out with puck.

DING DING DING we have a winner. It was dereliction of duty what Drury didn't do last summer.

Lose Wennberg, Roslovic, Gust, and Goodrow. Add 3rd line winger Smith (who was added to play on the 1st line) and 4th line C Carrick. What the F did people realistically expect to happen this season, come on now. Again, they are worse than I thought, but of course this wasn't going to be a good season with that kind of summer.

Not to mention coming off a career year for Panarin. Everyone regressed and Panarin is really the only one of a few worth a damn on offense.
