    'Let's make the roofs the same color as the balls, the most idiotic owner in sports strikes again,' one fan posted to X, formerly Twitter.

    Another one posted, 'That roof looks like a nightmare for popups and high fly balls.'

    '1000 IQ play by the MLB's most competent owner to make the roof the same color as a baseball,' another fan sarcastically said.

    'F**ked with this heavy until I realized the roof was white,' said another.

    Another fan posted, 'White ceiling is a horrible idea for a ballpark.'

    Funding and financing has not yet been announced or finalized as owner John Fisher and the city of Las Vegas try to agree on a deal.

    MLB has stated they want to sort out the A's and Rays stadium situations before they move forward with any expansion. Who knows if they will stick to that, though.

    Idk how that tiny city could support 3 major sports leagues if they get MLB. For decades we were told we weren’t large enough for more teams

    That tiny city hosted the Olympics. They probably built some hospitality infrastructure in the run-up thereto that supports major league sports better than Portland's does.

    Sounds like the Rays have known for awhile they won't be building in Pinellas County (St. Pete), now if Tampa steps up that could keep them in Florida but sounding more and more like they will be looking else where to play and owner will NOT be selling the team.

    I'll take what I can get, but it'd be a bummer to wait so long for a team, and then end up with one with a cheap ass owner that is a farm system for the other top teams.
