Simons-Grant-Camara-Avdija-Ayton Scoot-Sharpe-Flagg-Clingon would all be on the bench in Chauncey ball
It would depend who gets traded. I think they'll do their best to move on from Grant in the offseason, and maybe Ant. Not sure what they will do with Ayton. If you trade Grant and Ant, probably looking at Scoot-Sharpe-Flagg-Camara-Ayton. I don't think Deni would be opposed to not starting as long as he's finishing, but I think if Chauncey's still the coach the lineup will be fluid. If Sharpe comes back and hasn't improved, I could see Deni starting at the 2. I could envision Deni even starting at PG or either F; he just gives you that kind of versatility, but he's shown he can thrive in almost any role. Kind of shocked the Wizards let him go for so little.
We aren’t getting Flagg. This fucktard franchise more than likely ruined that opportunity. But, to play into the jinx that is this thread, it depends on who’s here next year. That means both on the floor and the bench
If we get Flagg he will suffer a career-ending injury falling off the stage after shaking Adam Silver's hand, so the starters won't change at all. barfo
Asking this question while simultaneously hoping we get wins in a season where we need losses is just peak absurdity. I laughed at it.
In the universe where that is a realistic option, and assuming he's as good as advertised, my guess is they would then trade Simons and Grant and have Toumani probably come off the bench as the 6th man. BUT I don't think that will be something we have to worry about, so I'm not worried.
If we had Flagg and Chauncey he’d probably bring him off the bench and give him 20-25 mins. God forbid we play/start rookies or young guys and let them get game time experience.
