ISC and UConn in same bracket so Juju Watkins and Paige Bueckers can't meet in Final Four. Bad planning.

Perhaps the committee thought that there were enough teams eminently capable of knocking either UConn or USC out of the tourney prior to the final four (Texas, UCLA, the other USC) that they thought facilitating an elite-8 showdown was the better option to hoping both win their regions.

Stanford hasn't missed a tournament since 1987 until this year.

Impossible to overstate Vanderveer's impact on that program, both while coaching and after retirement. Nice to see her sister in the tourney.

Liberty within eyelash of major upset. Down 17 to Kentucky, they came all the way back and lost by one point.

Good one between Louisville and Nebraska. Four point game less than 3 minutes left.

Great game in progress between Alabama and Maryland. Maryland up 10 early. Alabama roared back and took 17 point lead. Then Maryland came back and tied with 12 seconds left. Just went to OT.

JuJu Watkins tore ACL and is out of tournament. Bad news for her, USC, ESPN, fans. Tough

Absolutely sucks. But she'll come back as good as new. Though, taking next season off might be the best idea for her (rather than playing a partial season).

Oklahoma has four points lead at halftime but UConn poured it on in second half behind Paige Bueckers' 40 points, a team tournament record.
