That’s not why we traded Lindgren. We traded him because he’s a UFA and was going to want to be overpaid by this team. We got something for him instead of overpaying him. He’s a poor man’s Girardi. He is a heart and soul guy but gets hurt a bunch and all those little injuries have already started piling up. Girardi lasted much longer than Lindgren will, unfortunately for him.

He hasn't improved at the position much. Basically just a great athlete trying to wing it still.

He is dumb as dog shit. I’m pretty sure Drury is gonna get rid of his ass in the off-season.

Miller is a winger who is too slow to play offense so he plays defense. But he’s too stupid to play defense.

It almost looks sometimes as if he wants to be traded.

You can tell Sam's happy to getting away from this in another month.

Can we just start tanking already, please. This is pointless trying to win games to either miss the playoffs or go one and done and lose in 4/5 games

If Miller were white I feel like he’d be criticized a LOT more by the media. People are afraid of calling him out because they are worried they’ll be labeled a racist for simply starting the truth…the guy sucks

The sooner we get rid of Housley’s moronic man system the better. Nobody looks good in today’s NHL playing this way. I haven’t watched Lindgren at all since the trade but I’m not surprised to hear he has been steadier in a real system not playing first pair matchups.

The fact Housley has lasted this long terrifies me that neither Drury nor Lavi think the defensive system is an issue.

At this point I hope they lose every single game to draft in the top 10

Once again, the seeds for this debacle were planted during a horrific summer. I know people are tired of hearing it, but it's reality. The team got very clearly worse this past summer, what did anyone who wasn't looking through rose colored glasses realistically expect this season.

We'll see what they can do this coming summer. The team needs major core changing moves just like they needed last summer, let's see if it actually gets done this time.

Not as good of a team but shouldn’t be this bad. The across the board regression is ridiculous. No hunger whatsoever.

Totally agree with this. They are worse than even I thought they would be coming into the season, 3rd in Met/WC spot. It's why I have zero issue if everyone is fired, from the Pres/GM to the coaches. And then major BOLD unafraid changes must be made this summer.

The horrific summer was getting rid of Goodrow to spend more money on Reilly Smith, blowing up the team is fine unless the pieces don't want to move. Now Fox, who was also pathetic last night has been added to that NTC list. CK should hang them up, he gets cheap shotted then cries, embarrassing.

The Smith move was a disaster. Desperately no plan or strategy way overpaid by trading 2nd and 5th round picks for a 3rd line winger, then compounded it by playing him on the 1st line.

THEN to make it worse, Smith is traded for the lesser return of a 3rd round pick, that 3rd rounder is then traded for Soucy, who couldn't even crack the lineup for a few games over guys like Vaak or Jones. Talk about terrible asset management.

It's a shame, and something to never forget, but what's done is done, what matters now is what happens this summer. Major core changing moves are needed, which again can/will only happen if the man leading the charge is bold and thinking outside the box!!

I’m pretty sure they can trade Fox before next season and his clause won’t kick in, but I could be wrong.

Here are the details for Fox's clauses. The Rangers have until Jul 1st to trade him, I see almost no chance it happens.

Clause Details: NMC: Jul 1, 2025 to May 31, 2027; Limited NTC: Jun 1, 2027 to end (16 team no trade list)

Sad but true, I don't see wee Adam making it to the end of his contract as the league gets bigger.

Remember the guy Brian Rafalski? Fox reminds me of him. Rafalski is in hockey hall fame. It’s non sense that he can’t improve with some rest and off season training. He should have a plenty of it since they won’t be playing past April. Maybe keep him for at least two more years
