As somebody mentioned on X. Also, with significant ticket price reductions while the product is crap. This is a very bad hockey club. It should be way under .500. They basically had two goalies play out of their mind to start the season before they were ruined by the crap team. If not for that, this team would be 8 games under .500. I think you can trade Fox in the off-season before his NMC kicks in. Not sure. If you could do that I would get rid of Kreider, Fox, K. Miller. I would listen on Panarin. The first three would be key if you do a rebuild. The identity of the team should be like Washington. Big, physical and defensive. You have Edstrom and Rempe on the 4th line. Cuylle and Othmann up front. Rooebroeck coming sooner than later. Try to sign Bennett at all costs. Chychrun also. I think Perreault will need at least one year in the AHL.

If only someone had been saying they needed major core changes since they lost in the playoffs to Florida last season AND at least one of Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad, Fox, K. Miller must go ...:).

    Welcome aboard!!

Kreider and Zibanejad became happy to be one trick ponies. The one timer and deflections on the power play aren’t happening so look at what the rest of their game has become.

I really hate just about everything related to Zibanejad's game these days. It's so soft and weak, physically and mentally.

We are in serious danger of being fucked if Drury doesn’t really make elite moves.

I’m not feeling all that comfortable with him doing this so if they fired him, I would not have a problem with it.

Watching this coach now with Othmann he’s gotta go. He just doesn’t know how to develop young players.

This organization could’ve been handed Mcdavid, Crosby or Ovy and still would’ve frigged it up. There has been decades of this lol.

New York teams now honestly seem like they don’t give a shit. They know the morons that we are will still keep filling the arenas and stadiums paying absurd prices for everything. Everything is a money grab regardless of the product they’re putting out there.

Yep I'm going to one game, April 2nd law enforcement night. That's it. Dolan needs to cut ticket prices 30%, hire the ex Canadian GM and rebuild. End of story.

I'd put the chances of Dolan/MSG cutting the ticket prices at all (forget about cutting 30%) at less than 1%.

Get us to the off-season a quickly as possible so we can start dumping people. Drury can go as well. I won't miss his dumbass.

I’d say it’s more the ownership of these teams. For example I was reading an article about how many billions the Giants went up in value. This is over a decade where the team had been inept and prices just rise.

We have been blessed to enjoy a lot of playoff hockey over the last 15 years. Unfortunately this team doesn’t understand how to draft centers. While I agree you have to be a big physical team if you wanna win a cup you also have to have some speed whereas we seem a step slow. Stepan thinks every player in the NHL has to be lightning quick, which is a bunch of bullshit. However, it seems that we keep drafting these 6 foot seven guys and they don’t have a lot of quickness. We also need to start drafting more north/ south guys.

Hopefully you can do this rebuild in 2 to 3 years when you still have Shesterkin in his prime. I just don’t have much confidence in Drury to get it done.

Rempe's not any kind of answer on the 4th line going forward. He's as much a liability as he is any kind of help. Edstrom perhaps can last a few years but I'm not even sure about him. Sykora who knows.

I get it with Rempe but he’s the least of their problems. Obviously and for whatever reason here the truck completely broke down. The catalyst could very well of been Drury’s handling of the Trouba situation. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have been traded, but what they did completely destroyed the locker room. One of many reasons they need this guy away from this team.
