Went to San Francisco yesterday for lunch and ballet and ran into two protests. International Women's day rally in Union Square. Joined for a while, then headed to lunch. Walking up one of the steepest hills in San Francisco on heels might seem challenging but walking back down is much more so. About two miles hike to Opera House on Van Ness. Turned corner onto Van Ness and lots of honking horns. Big rally outside Tesla dealership. Couldn't stop, 30 minutes to curtain and still another hill to descend. (Not sure if I left my heart in San Francisco or just my feet.)
FDR and JFK have been silent as well. Bernie's the only elected official of that group. It's his job, it's not theirs. barfo
Kamala lost. She tucked her tail between her legs and fled to New England. She wasn't voted in. She is no longer a Senator. The people chose an idiot clown over her. Why should it be her problem now? Biden. I don't blame him after he was forced to step aside, even though it was the right thing to do. Again, he is no longer president and has been attacked for being senile. Yet, you want him to speak up? You want him to run again? Dude, is out of office...retired...why should it be his problem now? Obama he served his two terms. He helped Biden get elected. He tried to help Kamala. He has served his two terms. What else is he suppose to do? He can't run again.
Why should it be Bernie's problem now? Bernie got screwed and was tossed aside but he's still out there trying to do good work because he's not a grifter like all the people you listed above. That's the difference. People who serve in government should be actively trying to help people, not set themselves up for an eternity of gold and riches.
Kamala has been putting together a campaign to run for governor of California since she lost the presidency..there's been a lot of coverage over it recently. Bernie and Warren and AOC are fighting the good fight as well as Schiff and Raskin from DC at this point. The Supreme court is rigged so it's pretty much at the president's bidding right now. Losing the Supreme Court was what sealed the Dems political fate this last election.
Because he is still in office and trying to make a difference. Because he is one of the good apples...or at least better apples.
Say it with me, the others are grifters. Obama shows up every 4 years to shame voters into voting for his team when it was his policies that led us here.
You answered your own question there. It's Bernie's problem to deal with because he currently serves in government. Kudos to him for trying to be a force for good - but that is his actual job, and the fact that lots of others don't do their job doesn't relieve him of his responsibility to do his. barfo
Essentially AOC. She’s just been discredited because she’s a young woman, which is bullshit of course but America.
