lol one shot on goal. The vets are so fucking bad. Completely checked out. Will the dickhead stop throwing them out there already and see what they got. Just play younger players for the rest of the season already. But that's not the rangers way.

At this point I would also give the kids more time, why not as there is nothing to lose. But let's also be real, the kids we have are not top-notch kids. Maybe some solid players, but none are going to be guys we can hang our hats on, but I do agree play them more over guys like Kreider and Zibanejad for sure.

Results don't matter for the team anymore, in fact better if they lose so they keep their pick.

I will add, not only is it better if we lose so we keep our pick, but it may also be better if the team implodes these last 11-12 games. Maybe seeing the team absolutely pack it in and get rolled down the stretch will push whoever is calling the shots in July to go VERY BOLD with a remake and core changes. It's what is needed and has been since losing to Florida.

An embarrassing implosion hopefully will make the next necessary steps crystal clear.

Shesterkin leads league in high danger shots with 425 the only goalie to face over 400. So put that in your pipe and smoke it Stepan you Shesterkin hating bitch.

My main issue with Igor is his salary. No goalie is worth that much money. He either plays great or he plays like trash. He is not consistent enough to justify that salary cap hit

I’m glad they got the win for Sam. I’m definitely going to miss him after this season. For a lot of us he’s the only voice of the Rangers we’ve ever known. One of the best to do it.

It is emotional to see Sam retiring, being 50, he's all I've known as a Rangers TV play-by-play man. It's sad to see him go, especially off of this shi**y season, also means I am old. He should reconsider and come back for one more season, and maybe the Rangers won't suck.

Hockey karma allows the Rangers to steal one, good things happen when you throw the puck at the net. Considering the Rangers have won the Cup once in the last 83 years it's not going out on a limb to predict failure, all you can do is get to the playoffs and see what happens. AV took over Tort's roster midseason after they grew tired of blocking shots and took the Rangers to the Cup against all odds, then AV slowly tailspun them out of contention after adjusting the roster to his liking. There have been a few trips to the conference finals the last 3 years which rarely happens with this franchise since the last Cup win. No sense jumping off the wagon with 10 games left, I liked seeing Igor fired up, put the C on his chest , fire Housleep and Pecahead, put Mess on the bench. LGR!

Sam leaving is a changing of the guard. It is going to be really weird watching games without him next season. I was a little too young to remember Gordon, so it will be strange without Sam. I'd assume Kenny Albert will take over, he just turned 57 in early Feb, so you figure he could go 15 years +/-.

The Hanlon/Bieser/Richter era was my early wheelhouse. Bieser is my favorite Rangers goalie of all-time, first hockey jersey I bought.

BTW - Bieser's light blue mask with the city skyline and bees flying around is my favorite goalie mask ever.

    Sad to see Sam go...
