It would be direct if Israel itself deported people from the US. What you describe is at least 3 steps: 1) Israel funds politicians 2) politicians look the other way 3) ICE deports people That seems at least as indirect as: 1) Musk buys election for Trump 2) Trump signs executive orders about immigration 3) ICE deports people barfo
What does counting steps have anything to do with it? Look at intent and result. We don't even know if it is Americans abducting Americans or if they are Israeli. Or someone else. Elon does not fund the president to exile Americans from the country. Israel does. Israel is dictating this policy and if you don't think so, you're quite naive.
I think they both fund the president for their own selfish reasons. We should be strictly ensuring none of our elected leaders are tempted to engage in such exchanges. That should be the focus because far more people agree to the overall goal than about Israel or Musk. We can definitely use these as examples, however, the focus should be on systemic changes. Anything less will doom us to more crazy Republican leadership.
We need to identify that our foreign policy is being run by Israel, regardless of the president in power. It would be absolute negligence if we didn't.
When asked by a reporter about four American service members missing in Lithuania, Trump knew nothing about it, next question. He had spent day rage tweeting because a federal building in Colorado hung up an unflattering portrait of him. Imagine Benghazi, and President Obama saying he knew nothing about dead Americans, next question, and don't ever use unflattering picture of him. How long to impeachment?
Our foreign policy is being run *in coordination with* Israel. They are a very close ally. At least historically. You may be right that they are running it now. But if they are it's because they are taking advantage of our corrupt system. We need to eliminate the ability for capital to personally influence our elected leaders and then we'll be more able to elect leaders we can trust to manage that relationship better. Just hating on people or countries for taking advantage of our broken system without actually fixing the broken parts is just insane.
You keep saying "hating." Is that projection? Should Americans be joyous that a foreign country is bleeding our resources dry in the name of apartheid and genocide? Sounds like you want to fix the problem without naming it which is just naive and infantile. You're so scared of naming Israel as a problem because you're scared of being labeled "antiemetic." Then what they wanted has worked.
Wait a minute......we just spent the last four years hearing the Republicans whine incessantly about Biden's full out assault on the First Amendment and now they try to foist this latest indignation (and illegal act) on us???? Nothing like an oligarchy masquerading as a religious autocracy......with a megadose of hypocrisy on the side.......where are the fucking adults?? Oh wait, they moved to Canada........
Do we have any doubt this would be happening under a Democratic administration right now? They were already starting roundups under Biden too. Thankfully many on the right (and left) are awakening and hopefully uniting on this issue. It's sickening.
I'm not afraid of anything. I'm not afraid of being labeled anything. I honestly just don't care about them more than I care about our broken systems that they are taking advantage of. I'm a results oriented person. Targeting the people who take advantage of the broken system is just a distraction from the actual solution, IMO. Like being angry at Musk for any failures with Starlink. Sure, Musk is a piece of shit. But he's taking advantage of systems we encourage him to take advantage of. Fix our broken system and problems like Musk and Israel having undue influence on our government can be addressed.
Not to mention they were also whining about transparency. Cut to incognito individuals identifying themselves as ice agents, without presenting proper ID or warrants, wearing masks to cover their faces, basically kidnapping people, and whisking them away secretly across the country to black sites with no charges filed. They defy judges orders, try and stop lawyers from finding their clients, and stop families from finding their loved ones, whilst keeping said people detained for months in privatized sites to make money off of them before actually deporting them. Transparency my ass. That's some scary ass shit too.
The government of Israel is the problem. Netanyahu and the people he surrounded himself with is where the issue lies, not with the Israeli people. Just bad and selfish governing. Nothing antisemitic about that.
We are to Israel as Iran is to any faction that wants Israel and US obliterated. It's very religious and a struggle with Sunnis & Shia. Im not religious but any these religious fanatics have to go, no theocracies.
This is U.S. sanctioned propaganda. I'm no fan of the regime in Iran, but there's no evidence they want the U.S. or Israel obliterated. Sounds a lot like "Osama bin Laden hates us because of our democracy" regurgitated propaganda.
