Yeah, Montreal sweeping a home and home against the Panthers is a huge blow to the Rangers longshot playoff chances. It puts them on life support when you look at the Rangers tough remaining schedule, sitting 2 points behind Montreal - who have a pretty easy remaining schedule, and tied with CBJ who have a game in hand on the Rangers and also have a pretty easy remaining schedule. Looking extremely bleak.

The Rangers are also sitting 12th from the bottom overall, so still right on the top 13 line to keep or lose their 1st round pick this year.

 

8 seconds left and they get a crazy lucky bounce to tie it, then Florida pulls a Rangers and lose 20 seconds into OT.

 

I said the other day, I think CBJ will get the 8th spot, I'll standby that.

Yeah, and the chances of the Rangers getting 14 or 15 points out of their remaining 16 possible points, is pretty much zero, especially considering their remaining schedule.
