Game Thread 2024-25 GAME #79 - BLAZERS VS SPURS - APR 6, 2025 - SUN - 3:00 PM - CHARGE - BLAZERVISION

At least the blazers are pulling out all the stops for the tank to roll. Going to enjoy the game no mater what.

 

They actually have 10 players on the injured list. That is impressive.

 

The sad thing is I still think the Blazers will win the game cause Sharpe is still playing and he has shown he is capable of putting up 30 points in a game . The more I think about it is I would not be surprised if Sharpe breaks 40 today -- I am not sure what Billups can do to lose this game.

The fact I do not even know what one of the worst coaches in the league can do to LOSE a game is saying something so this game will be a fun watch just to see how he TRIES to lose the game.

 

Banton will be running the team and I think he is smart enough to know what he is supposed to do.

 

Things Billups can do to lose the game ...

1) Tell DC to make sure he shoots at least 5 to 6 -- 3's
2) Tell his team to "miss" a majority of any FT's -- think keep game % to like 60 ish
3) Let Rupert be the Point forward cause while he has kind of improved he is still not good at the part of his game.
4) Tell Banton to think he is Dame and shoot 3's like a full step plus back from the line.

These are just a few of the things Billups COULD do to help in a losing effort.

 

I would love to see Sharpe put up 30-40 today. Why not. Sounds life a fun ride.

 

Weird that we're favored in this game. They're starting CP3, the presumptive ROY Castle, Vassel, Harrison Barnes and Bassey with guys like Keldon Johnson and Champagnie coming off the bench.

If we really are holding everyone out that's on the injury report they should slaughter us.

 

I haven't missed a game in over 12 years now(Even if can't watch them live) and will be watching this one also. At this point, it is about just ending the season with some kind of confidence. Though no, I would not put any money on us winning this.
