These are professional players. Do we really expect them just to pack it in?

Why stop at losing the 8th lotto slot? Let’s win some more games and draft behind whoever loses in the Eastern Conference play in.

I expect us to sit our good players because this was a critical loss.

Actually, we can back from 8 up to lose to Spurs late in the season in 2022. And that’s how we got Sharpe.

Yes I get that no one is explicitly saying that but I know a lot could care less if we win or not.

Yes I understand the concept of getting us a better chance in the lottery but I just want to see us win and in essence hoping we lose, will never make sense to me.

    But to each their own.

Nate why do you care your lord and savior -- Cronin is on the job so why does it even matter ??

He does not need a good draft pick to help this rebuild since he cannot do no wrong and has fans like you who think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    Saying this for years
Murray picked a bad time to have a career night.

Even when we want him to just do what he's always doing, he can't come through for the good of the tank.

Last 3 minutes I had a feeling Shaedon was purposely boinking drives as though he knew a loss meant better teammate. He missed at least three layups late

And this win pretty much guarantees they can’t be 8 seed in lotto. Throw away play in hopes just to screw up the lottery. Awesome. Mediocre at its finest..

win the battle...lose the fucking war. That's the incessant argument around here

with a loss today, there was a possibility that the Blazers could end up 8th seed in the lottery. Portland trying to win out, as you advocate, could actually bump the Blazers to 12th seed

    8th seed has a 26.2% shot at a top-4 pick
    12th seed has 7.2% shot

    a better than a 1-in-4 chance vs a 1-in-14 chance

you're probably right. it's just i noticed uncharacteristic close misses in succession from him when the game was still undecided

I get what your saying friend but people on here are some of the most negative people I have ever known. And the NBA draft is watered down this year imo any way. So not getting a top 4 pick versus having to settle if you will for a top 12 one is imo not that big of a difference.

I expect to be in the minority with that thinking and thats fine.

So they were without Ayton, Williams, Duop, Deni, Grant, Simons, and Scoot.
Who exactly did you want to sit this game? Sharpe? He was 5-17, he did his part.

The constant whining is a little over the top at this point.
