Well, maybe not the most...but anyone else with me on this? Come on, they're making a movie out of what he did now, guy never made anything out of his whole career at the professional level, he had 15 yards-1 reception and 2 fumble recoveries. I don't even understand how they even think of making a movie out of this, he tried out, big deal, I can't imagine how boring the movie will be.
did he even score a TD? I think that since it's a Disney movie, their point is, no matter how old you are, your dreams can still come true..

How about if I was 90, tackling running backs?
It's a rather dumb idea for a movie, a nice little tale about his heart and motavation and work-ethic and all of that but there are numerous guys who have the same qualities who try out for the NFL on a yearly basis. How about the Wayne Chrebet story going from UDFA to Star WR despite being 'Too Small, Too Slow, and going to a 1-AA School'
It's like asking why they made "The Rookie" about Jim Morris.Vince Papale was 30 and made open tryouts, Jim Morris was injured and made open tryouts. It's a motivational story about being tough and never giving up.
^ I loved "The Rookie". That movie pwn3d. I thought this Papale guy was a special teams player and made a Pro Bowl? Guess not though lol.Movie looks kinda cool, but then again, i'm sure it'll be ridiculously dumb.
You guys are all blinded about it all, they make it seem that he actually made an impact, but when he DID IN FACT make the team, he didn't do ANYTHING, they make it seem as if he went in and became the Barry Sanders of his time or something.
Not at all.The previews emphasize it's a guy that's simply chasing a dream that every football fan has, to play for their team. And for Vince Papale, that fairy tell dream came true for him.The name might be misleading because of the definition of "invincible" but I think it's just a play on words with his name. You know what's funny, the same producers of "The Rookie" is making "Invincible"
