I looked at about 8 different mocks just now. They are all over the place with their 3-10 picks.
Two of them had Ace dropping to 4th behind VJ.

Danny Ainge misses as much as most. But he's historically made up for it by swinging two or three times as often as everyone else.

How many tries did that take. Took me a bunch.

If we don't move up, how would people feel about trading out? It's just that we have a lot of young players with promise at practically all positions. Obviously it's very unlikely that any of them (except p o s s i b l y Shae) become stars, but I'm not exactly seeing "star" for any player outside of, well, the top 2.

Of course, it depends on who the player is that we trade for. Suppose it's, say, Devin Booker?

i'd rather take a shot at a 2nd draft guy similar to deni than dump all of our future assets into a guy like book.

#10 pick is good enough to get you a young someone with some upside but in a bad fit situation, but not enough to net you a 'star' who might not be on our timeline anyway.

Avdija should be a star next season, unless we have a pumpkin for a coach.

Not available. Think of teams with good players but a toxic atmosphere. e.g. (or perhaps, i.e.) The Suns

I was amazed that Deni was available. Whom do you have in mind for a "second draft"? (Still hoping for Anthony Black - maybe if the Magic are utterly incapable of scoring in the playoffs...)

Ausar Thomson? Jaime Jaquez seems to have fallen out of favor in Miami... Ooh, how about Jeremy Sochan?

Anthony Black is who I’d want. Probably would be the most obtainable, and they’re a team that would need Ant’s scoring, so there is someone on the team that they’d want to make this a compelling trade for both teams.

Sochan would be interesting too but not sure who SA would want. I’m against giving up any 1sts for him.

I haven’t really gotten a chance to watch any prospects the whole year. Someone who knows Kasparas Jakucionis well enough, let me know:

    - Can he play without the ball at all?

I’m not setting on hopes of a top 4 pick, so I’m kind of assuming we’ll be around 10. I’d be really interested in Kasparas if he’s available at 10.

I’ve watch some clips of his defense and do believe he will be a plus on that side of the ball eventually. Needs to get stronger to guard bigger wings, but I think he’s tall enough to guard 1-3. I also do think he will eventually be a great catch and shoot kind of guy, although I know it seems he’s better creating his on shot.

Where would Clingan be ranked in this draft?

    Highly doubt that.
