Can we try to keep one part of the internet free of this kind of junk please? Let's imagine that anyone that cares about the opinions of that individual can go out of their way and actually find them, K?

The quoted part of this take is (as all of us have come to expect from Skip) about as dumb as you can get. The fans were showing Luka love and he was overwhelmed by it. These guys are human and they form attachments and bonds. So give me a break on that.

Then he restates how out of touch he is and says how the trade was good for both teams. I too wish Kyrie and AD were playing because it would have shown Skip that the trade made the Lakers better now. The funny thing is that right now isn't why the trade was so bad for the Mavs. The trade was so bad for the Mavs because AD is still good but not as good as he once was and most likely Luka's best ball is in front of him, as scary as that is.

Just typical Skip Bayless bullshit. Dude has never known his elbow from his asshole.

I love this it sets up for some amazing games to watch over the weekend and it makes it easier for our Blazers to get these last two losses that they need to have the best chance to get the best pick they can get.

So it looks like the Lakers and Warriors will WANT to win?

The Dubs to stay out of the play in and then possibly the Lakers to get home court... I guess the home court thing could be decided by the time we play them but if not... then yeah it should mean that both of those teams will really WANT to win.

I believe all the games in the west start at the same time…… trying the soccer way of doing things. May make it interesting.

That's really smart. It makes it far more likely that more of the Sunday games have something on the line.

Warriors need to win to hope to avoid play-in

Lakers play Houston next and the Rockets are resting all their starters. IIRC, ff the Lakers win that game they are locked a 3rd seed because of tie-breakers

so, if the Lakers beat Houston, it seems very likely that they will rest Lebron, Doncic, Reaves, probably Hachimura. meaning the Blazers will need to work hard to tank that game

go with a short rotation of Cissoko, McGowans, Minaya, Reath, Walker, Murray and pray for lots of blazer-bricks. Sit Banton...too much risk of a career game from him

The Lakers only need to win one game to sew up the third seed.
Their next game is against the Rockets which sat their starters in the last game.
So it's likely that the game against the Blazers will be meaningless for the Lakers.

I'm praying for the risky Laker move instead in which they decide it is more important to not give the Rockets another look (also resting their starters) with the understanding that they can still handle a tanking Portland team on Sunday. Let a guy dream!

While the Lakers may not have any upside in winning the Blazer game, unlike some of the teams we've played recently, they also have no incentive actively try to lose with their backups either... I'm hoping that's enough to carry the Vincent-Hachimura duo past Portland.

Sorry but I can't root for the Blazers to lose against the Lakers. Not gonna do it.

If the Lakers win the championship this year, will Davis get a ring?
