I agree it does look like the 9-10 range might be better at guard. And quite frankly, if we lose Simons, then a guard who can shoot is the biggest need. And a backup PG is next on my list. (or a PG who can beat out Scoot)

Either way, put me in the BPA camp because we never know who will be on the team when these young rookies are ready to contribute.

I just tried Tankathon again and got 2nd on 2nd spin, 1st on 8th spin, 4th on 10th spin.

I'm always for BPA, but for roster needs they could definitely use some more shooting, playmaking & a small ball 5. Especially given the defensive positional flexibility of Deni & Camara basically there isn't a position they couldn't use another talent at

A toolsy big guard wouldn’t be a bad thing, that Demin kids about 6’ 8” right and looks to have solid ability in the passing game? How is his defense, shooting? Haven’t watched any college ball this year to see live game action.

The kid from Baylor is a beast for his size. Solid defender and will be a scorer in time.

Demin's an elite passer and an above average defender but his shooting is a big question mark. If he shot better he'd be in the top 4-5 in this draft. The fact that he's probably low lottery or even low teens shows you have many questions exist about his shot.

Phoenix up by 20, Blazers down by 20. That's a good thing since we're currently Tankathon-tied.

Is the Phoenix pick that Houston has unprotected?

I am so salty at the Spurs. Those mother fuckers already have Wemby and they're back in the lottery again. I wish them nothing but bad luck.

Assuming Suns win tonight and we lose, it's very likely that....

We have a 17.3% chance of landing in the top 4.
We have a 3.8% chance to get #1.

I don't want to get into a math discussion but at the ninth slot in the lotto we get a 4.5% chance at the first pick and a 20.2% chance to move up into the top 4.

Why do you two have different percentages?

I've got a link to a site that does this and this only.

According to Tankathon the 9th slot in the lotto has a 4.5% chance at pick #1, a 4.8% chance at pick #2, a 5.2% chance at pick #3 and a 5.7% chance at pick #4. That's a total of a 20.2% chance that our team has of moving up assuming that we stay in the 9th lotto spot after Sunday.

Again, here is the link from Tankathon: https://tankathon.com/pick_odds

I agree with your numbers, but I used the same site. idk why they'd change. I'm just going to wait until after the next game, and the odds should be locked in.

Cody was Danny Marang's sleeper pick that he wouldn't stop talking about. Of course, it is way too early, but Ainge's picks the last couple of years in Hendricks and Williams are not panning out so far.

I think Derrick Queen would be an interesting option for the Blazers. I think he might be too talented to last until our pick, but he would be a really interesting option behind Clingan.
