Speaking of downers and getting punched in the gut….. The new season of The Last of Us comes out next week. Gonna rewatch Season 1 to refresh….I remember it being brutally depressing.
Man, I don’t know. It’s getting great reviews and is like NETFLIX’s most watched show ever or something, but it’s a downer is all I’ll say. Don’t want to spoil anything for ya. Actually, it’s not as depressing as watching your Beavs play any sport whatsoever, so you should be fine! #BAM
Gotta agree even though it's not my "normal" kind of show. Kinda like if the Buss family was running the Clippers. But the very best part (spoiler alert) was that Portland beat the "Waves" in the Western conference Finals. And with today's ownership, about the only way Portland is gonna get that far is in a fictional sit com......
No worries ... I got wrapped up in the vacay and didn't see your post until Sunday. Garden was cool, can feel the history for sure! Wife's cousin had a hell of a time with tickets and 3rd party apps but that's a whole other story. Just wish the guys wouldn't have taken a nap to end the 3rd and start the 4th quarters but oh well. Got to cross another sports mecca off my list, so all in all it was a good day!
As soon as I realized it was essentially the Jeanie Buss story I couldn't finish the first episode. My true sports hatred of that franchise just wouldn't let me watch it, felt the same with Showtime though I made it through a few episodes of that one before turning away.
Mobland on Paramount+ is fucking great! So is Landman. Looking for a great binge weekend? Get the free month of Paramount+, then cancel. I got it for $4.99 and keeping it. Enjoy.
I highly recommend Common Side Effects on Max. But watch Scavengers Reign first (initially on Max, now on Netflix). They're not related (except by some of the creative people) it's just that Scavengers Reign is more mindblowing than CSE.
On a completely different tack, if you like David Mitchell from Peep Show (also from famous sketch "are we the baddies?") and also like cozy mysteries of the Miss Marple variety, then Ludwig (now on Britbox) is for you!
