+1 to that.
Granted, the overly negative also annoy me, as I can't understand the desire to be entertained by something that bothers you so much. But this season, just about every single thread on the board has just been a constant beating over the head of Ant, Grant, Ayton, Ant, Grant, Ayton, Ant, Grant, Ayton, Ant, Grant, Ayton.
I've never been a big game thread contributor anyways, but my overall diminished enjoyment on the site has absolutely nothing to do with the product on the court, and has everything to do with the same thing getting repeated over an over.

 

Right where I figured we’d end up this season (35-38 wins), which I think is pretty good given the makeup of the team.

We can get talent with 10. We got Deni for 14 last year essentially.

 

Not a big difference between 9 and 10. And Houston carried momentum from last year. We will too. There are many ways to add talent.

 

I think we can get a very talented player at #10. We basically acquired Deni with with the 14th pick last year.

 

You can acquire talent many different ways. Pick #1o and #9 are pretty much the same.

They are striving to put together a team with the illusion of competitiveness and to make the play-in or even the playoffs but not willing to pay the price for true greatness.

And continuing on the @Mediocre Man theme, I sometimes feel like we have a team being led by Klink & Schultz.

Great entertainment for some but not if you are rooting for team Schultz.

Then again, who are we? Just simple fans who “know nothing!”

 

Yeah, this was my point. I think the direction or lack thereof that the team has had over the past handful of seasons is a much larger cause of the shorter game threads than people being chased off by complaining in the threads... which has always been there because we haven't won anyrhing meaningful in a long long time.
