AL: CLEVELAND (51-35) at TORONTO (42-43) <h3>Carmona to start against Blue Jays</h3> <div class="pre">Cleveland (51-35) at Toronto (42-43) 1:07 pm EDT</div> TORONTO (Ticker) -- Fausto Carmona takes the mound as theCleveland Indians hope to snap a three-game losing streak whenthey face the Toronto Blue Jays in the second game of athree-game series Saturday. Carmona (9-4, 3.78 ERA) bounced back from his worst outing ofthe season in his last start, allowing just two runs - oneearned - and four hits with two walks and eight strikeouts oversix innings in a 10-2 triumph over the Tampa Devil Rays onMonday. The 23-year-old righthander was blasted for eight runs over justone inning in a 13-7 loss to the Oakland Athletics on June 27. On the heels of six straight wins, the Indians are now hoping toavoid their first four-game losing streak of the season. The Blue Jays will counter with Shaun Marcum (4-2, 2.86), whohas not lost since moving to the rotation on May 13. The 25-year-old Marcum posted a 3-0 record with a 2.02 ERA in 10starts. The righthander's ERA has fallen from 6.06 in thatspan. Marcum did not receive a decision after pitching 6 2/3 scorelessinnings, yielding six hits and two walks with two strikeouts ina 2-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners. Vernon Wells homered and drove in three runs in the Blue Jays'8-6 victory over the Indians on Friday.
