Beginning of ANOTHER dynasty. Pays to tank in some situations.

Which mock drafts do you all think are the best? (In terms of ranking,) From what I can see, there are some good players after 10.
I like Fleming as well, and most have him around 16th.

Stock is down due to a season ending knee injury (non-ACL)

Super Sleeper in the second round if he stays in the draft.

“Knee injury” and “Blazers” never go well together.

    Blazers lost the tiebreaker.
Still have the same odds as the Rockets for the lottery.

The Houston Rockets (via Phoenix) won a random drawing Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers to potentially land a higher draft choice in the NBA's 2025 first-round. An announcement detailing the random-drawing results was made by the league office.

As things stand, the Rockets and Trail Blazers will split their odds for the May 12 draft lottery, which determines the top four selections. However, in the likely scenario that neither team jumps from the No. 9 or No. 10 odds slot into the top four, Houston would pick ahead of Portland in the first-round order.

What a horrible trade for Brooklyn to send Phoenix's first round draft picks to Houston in exchange for Houston's first round draft picks.

edit: I guess it's not so bad because Brooklyn got their own draft picks back from Houston.
If those pics for Brooklyn were unprotected why would Houston make this trade?
Now it seems like a bad trade for Houston because Brooklyn ended up sixth from the bottom this year.

In a major trade, the Houston Rockets acquired a significant amount of draft assets from the Phoenix Suns, including the Suns' first-round pick in 2027, by trading with the Brooklyn Nets. The Rockets essentially traded their 2025 and 2026 unprotected first-round picks to the Nets, who then acquired those picks via the Kevin Durant trade. In return, the Rockets received four future first-round picks (2025, 2027, and two in 2029) from the Phoenix Suns

Rockets sent: Their 2025 and 2026 unprotected first-round picks to the Net
    • Rockets received:
      • The right to swap their first-round pick (or Oklahoma City's) with Phoenix's first-round pick in 2025.
      • Phoenix's first-round pick in 2027.
      • The more favorable of Dallas's and Phoenix's first-round pick in 2029.
      • The right to swap their first-round pick with the less favorable of Dallas's and Phoenix's in 2029.
    • Nets received: Their 2025 and 2026 first-round picks back from the Rockets

    Very and painfully true…

However, he’s a 1RP talent you can steal in the second.

    Definitely a risk worth taking.

I view him as a potential primary backup to Clingan

Hardwood Hoops Central has started posting synergy clips of guys. Includes shot attempts, rebounds, assists, turnovers and defense (organized by play types seemingly)

Wish he would timestamp these, but they are an awesome resource...especially the defensive stuff.

The 22 guys he has uploaded so far matches ESPN's top 22 so we should be seeing Ben Saraf, Thomas Sorber and Nique Clifford come out soon.

I've shouted out this guy as well, but cashiggy's cut ups are another great film source for those with limited time, but still want a complete look at players games.

Drake Powell will be a top 25 draft pick when it's all said and done.

Crazy athlete with a very high motor. Best perimeter defender in the draft imo. Low foul rate defensively despite his aggressiveness. Was very efficient in a small role. Great finisher and a solid albeit developing shooter.

Despite the low usage rate this year, he showed plenty enough handle, passing and shooting on the move and off the dribble to project him into a larger role down the line.

I see a reasonable floor of a supercharged Terrance Mann with plenty of room to hit higher outcomes depending on how he develops.

Very intrigued by him....but have already come to terms that he will fall to the Thunder at #24 and everyone we'll be asking why the league let that happen in 5 years haha

Darkhorse at #10 and a player I think will be one of the biggest risers during the combine — the best shooter in the draft:

In summary, Tankathon numbers seem to like some of the guys who should be available for us better than Bailey and Harper.
